2009 has been quite a year, starting out with my husbands half-sister passing away. In March
we had to place our youngest son in a group home due to being violent toward me and our
oldest son Daniel.  In April (at the end of the month) our oldest son Daniel got really sick
he started out with a bad sore throat to coughing up blood.  He was in the hospital from
April 28th to June 3rd.  In the meantime he wasn't getting better he coded on May 3rd and a
week later on Mother's Day we get a call from the Dr. giving us only 2 choices either trac
him (put a hole in this throat) and put him in a care home and let him live out his days.  The
other option was just to make him comfortable unitl he dies.  We said keep him comfortable
Praise God for nurses and Resp. Therapists they said let's give him a chance.  We tried, then
we had a family conference two days later.  Same thing again trac him and let him be comfortable
and one other option the Dr. said was to take him home and give him Morphine and starve him out
NO WAY give him a chance.  Of course I cried for three days and after the three days the Holy
Spirit said "Do not give up and do not plan a funeral."  So after instructions from God I went to
the hospital and started praying the word over Daniel and after a few days I started noticing
small changes.  Then after about a week or so of driving back and forth two times a day to
pray and read the word over him he started making big improvements.  On Memorial Day
Daniel passed the swallow test and he started eating pureed foods the next day.  Then after
about a week later he was discharged on June 3rd.  Just recently (at the end of July) the feeding
tube was removed, (which was placed when we thought we were going to loose him.) 
Daniel is now back to himself and is going back to his school program on Aug. 24th when
school starts. 

Never give up hold on to God's Promises remember God is in control and Nothing is
Impossible with our God.  If you have to like I had to with Daniel be someone's voice
I know it makes a big difference.  The Dr. that wanted to starve him I had removed
his case after he passed the swallow test, he wasn't going to let Daniel eat as other
Dr.'s and the Speech Pathlogist said he could.  Praise God for His Mercy,Favor & Grace
I am forever grateful for all your prayers and for what our God has done.  Nothing Nothing
is Impossible With Our God
