It's a dry and thirsty land all over the place
People running to and fro, Lord what a rat race.

Knowledge has increased, but they have no peace
They say let's read this book and that book
  It's only the GOOD BOOK they need.

Lord Jesus, they do not know, it's you they are looking for
Lord help them to stand still
.  Lead them to your Holy Hill so they can get filled.

Jesus Lord I pray, guide us through this day.
Let us know you Lord in a righteous way.

You died and came back alive, to see for yourself if your commandments we will obey
Love one another you did say.  Lord we need your Holy Spirit to help us in this way.
Wrap your arms around us and stop the generation curses I pray.

You left the world in this state and went back to your heavenly place.
You see that man on drugs, spending his whole pay. 
Convict him Lord and send him on his way.

You see that woman selling her body to some bum she thinks may become her honey.
Wrap your arms around her Lord, and let her know she does not need his money.

You see that boy cussing his dad because he has so much anger
He really don't know because of your commands he is in danger.
You see that child molester.  Stop him Lord, before he hurts another.

Lord you see that man beating his wife 
If he touches her this way again, Lord, put him to flight

You see that man and woman Lord, they are committing adultery
Convict them Lord, before they mess up the families' unity

Only you can do it Lord, don't leave us in this mess.
I am only pleading for those who do not know you and have no rest.
