63:1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God, I seek thee, my soul thirsts for thee; my flesh faints for thee, as in a dry and weary land where no water is.
Yes, my soul does thirst for You
Oh, God my King
I long to ever see you face to face
As we embrace in the communion of prayer
The unique opportunity to know You
What does it mean to thirst for God I wonder?
I have been desperate at times to have prayers or questions answered.
He does not always answer the way I think He should
But that is the beauty of who He is
He is not like us in our thoughts and actions
He is altogether holy and there is no darkness in Him at all.
So what I desire is to know Him more
To be unselfish in my prayers
This is what I think He wants from us all.
