I LOVE Molotov Mitchell . However, in this case he is wrong on this one issue. Hold on, hold on. He's only wrong in who he said the founder of the public school system is. He said it is C.F. Potter. In reality, the public school system was created by Dr. Benjamin Rush (a signer of the Declaration of Independence). Dr. Rush said concerning Scripture in public school:
"By removing the Bible from schools we would be wasting so much time and money in punishing criminals and so little pains to prevent crime. Take the Bible out of our schools and there would be an explosion in crime."
Maybe Dr Rush was a prophet too? Hmmmmmmmmmm.

| Has a lot to do with what's being piped into your living room through that sewer system called television. Especially those that allow HBO hell's broadcasting offerings with every suggestion of filth and profanity that would make a sailor's blush. Magazines and movies are full of suggestions of sex also. Public schools are promotes of homosexual lifestyles and other pervertions. Diversatity, means anything an everything should be acceptable. |

Sheree, Easy...worship together as a family. IMHO, Sunday School is unnecessary. But, I can tell you this...you are absolutely right; I have an extended family member who teaches Sunday School every Sunday and...she doesn't even believe in Jesus Christ...an unbeliever teaching Sunday School...sigh. |

| Concentrating on the title alone. How come kid's know everything about sex, but nothing about abstinence from sex until they're ready and mature enough to handle it? Many-a-kid (cos that's who they are in some circumstances) have been left screwed up by a one night stand. Furthermore, landed with the consequences because of it. So how about teaching abstinence from it - instead of the promotion of it until they can handle it? |

Stevie,
As much as I agree with you, unfortunately abstinence cant be taught. it must be lived. If you are a single adult/parent and a child does not see you abstaining, in their mind the message is "Do as I SAY, not as I do".
We as adults look hypercritcal in their eyes and they cant wait to make a "jailbreak" from their parents. Unfortunately, they run into the arms of a person who only wants what they have, not who they are. |

| Personally, I don't think sex education of ANY kind should be taught at school. They can't even teach the fundamentals (see the video above). Nor do I think Christians should have their kids in school! |

| Gerald, i am in total agreement with you somethings have to be lived respect, is another one, that do as i say and not as i do went out with our generation, it doesn't work anymore, and i am praying for the sunday school class that has poison being spewed over them, it is a dangerouse thing to put someone up to speak that doesn't live or speak let alone believe the Word of God. |

[star!] | Ome of my grandchildren at the age of 3 could tell you the names of all the rap artists but could not tell you one verse from the bible. He could even recite the words to a lot of the songs but could not sing one Christian song. The problem is the parents.
My daughter claims she reads the bible and prays but you couldn't tell from listening to the children speak. Don't get me wrong, they are well behaved and do not curse or swear. Anytime they are with me we do bible stories where I act out the parts and I have them sitting on the edge of their seats. If they get good foundational teaching they will receive it. |

| You've got a valid point Gerald. In short, and in the context of your reply. How can you instill something into a child - when they're doing it themselves. Its a mixed message isn't it? |

And, look y'all, the point isn't sex education...The point is...Govt schools are dumbing down our children and teaching them nothing but how to experiment with / engage in sex. It's why Johnny can't read but why Johnny can get an 11-year old pregnant. *sigh* Now, is the time to get your kids out of govt schools...SAVE THEIR LIVES and what's left of their PURITY. We WILL be accountable before God on how we taught (or failed to teach) our children. Govt school is an anti-Christ system any way you look at it. |

[star!] | I read somewhere that the bible can't be read in schools but is available in the prison systems, how sad is that? Prophet Jay my grandchildren are the same "Rap" artists are their gods! I agree with Vickie Sanders, we NEVER watch TV and dont take newspapers or magazines. When my granchildren are in my care they are EXCITED at the bible stories that I tell them. We need to teach our children the basics of life which is belief in Jesus. Stu. |

| Stu, you've got it right! Why would we send our kids to a place like that to be indoctrinated...because you sure better not call it education! But, yeah my husband did prison ministry for years and it was so sad...Could've been prevented...We MUST obey the Bible in raising our children! |

Stu,
When you talked about Bibles not allowed to be read in public schools that happened June 25, 1962 in a U.S. Supreme Court ruling. Another ruling in 1980 barred the 10 Commandments from being posted in public school because "the children might learn from them and start to practice them" What we all must remember is that the public school system was started by a CHRISTIAN (Dr. Benjamin Rush).
Bottom Line: When we abandon the rightful place that God has given us, the devil is more than willing to take it over. |

[star!] | my husband does prison ministry and everyone is asking for bibles. To bad that some of us have to sink to the lowest before we call out to God. My grandson is now 15, he was raised in church for the first 9 years befor going to live with his mother. He could write a book on rap, drugs, sex and violence, it's sad. Makes me think back to the time when I was younger, if I had only listened to my mom.!!! |

| Gerald I don't know if you are aware of my nationality but I am from England! It is only just becoming part of our "Culture" not to have what we called "Assembly" in our schools. Our nation is becoming more Islamic by the day and less Christian by the hour. A pastor in London was arrested while preaching the word of God on a London street. He had a red London bus with the logo "Jesus Saves", meanwhile in another part of London an Imran (I think thats what their priests are called) was holding an open air Mosque....nothing was done about that except that they had Police protection. I am sorry to say but Britain is no longer a Christian Island but more of an Islamic state!, love Stu. |

Stu,
Sorry about that. Your profile says you're in San Jose, CA. I thought you still lived there. In America, the persecution of the Church has begun here.
We have an opportunity in America to stop it and turn the tide but our Church leadership is too busy being famous and controlling of the congregation to realize that the enemy is no longer at the gate of the Church. He's standing in the threshold and the leadership is about ready to invite him in for "tea".
Pray for us that they would wake up or have God remove them. Either way, there is remnant here in America that want His presence to show up in us and His power in face of our enemies. |

| Stu, I've heard it called Londonstan for a while now. Very sad! Hey our British friends quit getting married and if they did get married, they didn't have babies or didn't have enough to replace or grow the population...and the Muslims did. That simple. He with the most kids wins! Remember, God said this a long time ago and re-iterrated (sp?) to Noah's family...BE FRUITFUL AND MULTIPLY...FILL THE EARTH...SUBDUE IT...TAKE DOMINION...
It is time for America to wake up! Why do we keep sending our kids to the Godless, anti-Christ govt schools? And then wonder why they know all this junk? Is there a connection here? And they are getting dumber every day! Come on...EXODUS! |

On a Biblical persuasion...Be Fruitful and Multiply, by Nancy Campbell. Very encouraging...read it at your own risk! *big smile here!* |

Stu,
I believe you change the church reflect on your page on onyour own. scroll down to bootom of the page and hit "church directory". Find your province, then your city, then the church. Click "Join this church" Then change that church to the main church. then the other one in San Jose click "leave this church"
Hope this helps |
