In 1517, Martin Luther nailed his Ninty-Five Theses to the door of the castle church in Wittenberg. Luther became known as a reformer, and we remember his bold stand as a turning point in church history. The fiery priest demonstrated great courage in expressing outrage at the church's practice of selling forgiveness through indulgences, which allowed the people to sin intentionally in exchange for money. Luther's passion to stop these practices did not make him popular with the religious authorities of his day. In fact, his efforts resulted in a series of attempts to silence him. Long before Luther, the prophet Jeremiah felt the power of God's Word in his heart "like a burning fire shut up in my bones; I was weary of holding it back, and i could not" (Jeremiah 20:9). Jeremiah and Luther refused to allow God's truth to be compromised. Living for God is about grace and forgiveness, but it's also about boldly standing for the truth. Having God's Word in our heart doesn't always result in warm, pleasant feelings. Sometimes His truth becomes a blazing fire that causes us to challenge corruption--even though we may be attacked for it. -- Julie Link Sure I must fight if I would reign; Increase my courage, Lord. 23:1 Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the LORD. IT'S BETTER TO DECLARE THE TRUTH AND BE REJECTED THAN TO WITHHOLD IT JUST TO BE ACCEPTED. |

| The path of least resistance is followed by many. Even Christians don't like being rejected. They didn't like Jesus, why would they like his followers? If none go with me, still I will Follow. I'll go with him, with him all the way. Where he leads me, I follow. Jimmy Sanders Beam me up Jesus |

Amen! Love it! Praising God for such spiritual forefathers such as Martin Luther, John Wycliffe, William Tyndale & many others. May we not take it for granted what it cost these men (& others) in order for us to have a Bible in our own hands and in our own language. We can freely read for ourselves just as Martin Luther did while studying the Book of Romans- which then compelled him to write his 95 Thesis and point out the profound truth that we are saved by His Grace and not of our own works!!! Thank you Jesus!!!
3:23 For all have done wrong and are far from the glory of God; 3:24 And they may have righteousness put to their credit, freely, by his grace, through the salvation which is in Christ Jesus:
10:9 Because, if you say with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and have faith in your heart that God has made him come back from the dead, you will have salvation: 10:10 For with the heart man has faith to get righteousness, and with the mouth he says that Jesus is Lord to get salvation.

The real blessing is knowing that i am not in this battle alone, even more so that my sisters are back in God's desired place. On The Battle Field for our Lord, i can admit that i am not fully at the place where i can say thank you God i am being persecuted for Christ's sake but He is grooming me and building me everyday for that day where i will be completely UN-STOP-ABLE. He had to break me and re-make me but it is something about the prefix "RE" re-born, re-made, re-constructed, re-vived, re-newed, and so many other RE's. Thanks again ladies for the comments and the stars.

Ain't that the truth. I place a comment to help others understand and some one comes along, disregarding what I say. With out checking it out in the first place. And continues to confuse the issue. I do not ask anyone to accept what I say as wrintin in stone. Yet it is in the Scripturs. Not to chek out my comment and act as if I was never there shows a great deal of ignorance. I was "sandwiched by a member who I can not believe ever truly studied God's Word. Whith some foolish idea of what Christ ment in one area. Yet, they have no true scholars to back up their understanding. I know this person uses the NIV and I had even told him how bad a translation it was. But, it is easier to "understand" for the lazy. Those who block the truth will fall on their swords soon. That is God's Word, not mine. Great blog, God bless!! |

Ronnie, i have experienced the same thing, i completely understand but this is from someone who studies the KJV and supposed to know more than me and is better than me, so if they are saying stuff like this that tells me that there is a touch of jealousy in the air, But God Said, I love that phrase but God Said and if He said it that settles it.
Thanks bro. for the comment

You are absolutely correct, one thing God let me in on, is that when "believers" start saying that you are being legalistic, there is a lack of knowledge of god's Word, they don't like how God uses you or the devil is using them in his most subtle way to try and throw you off.
I love the Lord i tell you if you stick with God, you can't go wrong. |
