| How ya shinnin'? Dimly or Brightly? |

5:14 "You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hid. You are set on a hill for all to see. That is the plight of a Christian -- a fool for Christ.
People are watching you, looking for Light. Seeing you and being around you may be as close to God as they ever get. Is the Light that comes from you bright or dim? Does it dazzel them? Or do they have to squint and strain to even see it?
People are watching. They want to know if Christ, the Light, is real. If they can't see Christ in you and me, they will falsely conclude that He is only a historical figure or a mere myth.
We've gotta shine! Not for personal recognition, but so others can see Jesus. Only God can make us shine brightly. But only we can submit to God's brightening process and let Him mold and mend us so that He can trust us with His brightness - His glory.
You are a light bulb on a hill. Won't you let Jesus turn you on bright so that others can see his Light?
