Any day without a smoke is a miracle.

For this thirty year 3 pack a day smoker. Pretty busy for some strange reason I got up at 4 am and couldn't get back to sleep. I got to bed last night about 1:45 as I got off work a 11:00 and took a lady friend of mine grocery shopping so she could have her four kids for the day.

I really needed to be at the 8:30 AM service a church today as I had to be at the Wabash Valley Narcaotics Anonymous Area meeting at 10:00 AM which lasted to 12:45 PM, then to a meeting for membership at a local "recovery club" for recovereing Addicts, then to an NA meeting for the local hospitals and institutions. Most NA members consider Sunday just another day, I resigned from my positions as panel coordinator for our local work release, and from my obligations to carry NA to the local Juvenile Center.

Todays Sermon was on taking time to pay attention to guidance from the spirit.

3:1 Now Moses was keeping the flock of Jethro his father-in-law, the priest of Midian: and he led the flock to the back of the wilderness, and came to the mountain of God, unto Horeb. 3:2 And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed. 3:3 And Moses said, I will turn aside now, and see this great sight, why the bush is not burnt.

Was a big part of the scriptural reference, as well as Balaam talking with his Donkey in Numbers, and Pauls experience on the road to Damascus. I get the impression God's trying to tell me to let go of NA resposibilities to get to work for his Kingdom, but I was only able to make baby steps today.

Oh yeah I might add that I worked from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM at the house. I'm thinkin this schedule thing will take time as well finances and about every other part of my life.

Well pretty soon I'll hit my knees and perhaps more will be revealed. 'cause I hope I don't end up talkin' to a donkey.

Thanx dude BTW Church Rocked and I don't even have a donkey, but my trustee dog Dexter has been known to look at me kind of funny.

I've been called a donkey, and got traded for a dog when I went back to school the last time.

I was talking to one of the guys who works with the youth in our church. He had just gotten back from going to camp with them where one of the speakers was from Teen Challenge. As soon as he mentioned them, I wanted to kick myself for not remembering them earlier. Maybe they're different in Minnesota, but honestly this sounds like something that would be closer to what you're looking for. (Unless God is calling you in a completely different direction).
