Present your self to God.
God reminded me of this basic Christian discipline this morning. Am I on purpose starting every morning by coming before His presence? [Even when it's busy?]
That's not just a good idea. That's not just something that a follower of Jesus should "try" to do when convenient. We have to present ourselves before Him every day to give the day a chance!
Think about this present(preezent) vs. present (prehsent)---the verb vs. the noun: present.
Present yourself as a gift (present) before God so that He can use you for His glory that day.
Start the morning fresh. Try it tomorrow---present yourself before the Lord.
Pray: God, here I am presenting myself to You. Use me today for your glory. Amen.
