Love when this happens. Where two or more are gathered, there I am in the midst of you. Praise God Hallelujah!!
Good point Mike. They, that don't know what we are experencing just see us happy or maybe don't see anything at all.
i would hope that if we are not ready we get ready. The Harvest is plentiful,
but the labors are few.
Gods peace to you..... and all who will read this. May we make a difference in someones live, for what we do for others, we should do, as we are doing it for the Lord.
 He did for us. Amen.

They see nothing until we speak something.  Witnessing to them that this Joy they see they can also experience and we extend the invitation.  He did it for us and He will do it for you.....AMEN

Funny that today was Pastor appreciation day and he is leaving our church. I had nursery duty today meaning I would not get to participate in the love roast and pictures and all that were displayed. They had the doors open during the worship and praise so that Betty and Janel could help set food out for the after church dinner. I was singing with the wee ones from the praise and worship that was going on and they were dancing about and joining in although they had no idea I am pretty sure that we were doing anything but playing. I felt so much love and beauty in the Holy Spirit back there that I found myself not alone but part of the whole. My nursery partner didn't come today. They were concerned I could handle it but I had just two. Two others came back but the parents seeing that I had two under two, left with them.

Oh, back to my point....it would have looked like play to anyone visiting but I was so enjoying the Holy Spirit and doing my duty at the same time. He was right there with me and Luke and Natalie. Praise God for the precious Presence of His Spirit. We are never alone.

Praying for our Pastor/and his family and praying for whoever will replace him.

My brother, That is exactly how it was at our church this morning too. THICK was a good adjective to use. Afterwards pastor preached on James 2....faith and works.  Very good worship and very good sermon. Glad we all had a good day today. Love ya all.

We also had God's Holy presence THICK. During praise and worship, the Holy Spirit filled the room. We just kept praising and praising and praising. The Pastor and some prayer warriors prayed with those who came for prayer while everyone else kept praising. It's awesome to have a Pastor who allows the Holy Spirit to guide the service. We didn't even get to the preaching. It was all about worshiping the Lord this morning. I had tears streaming down my checks. I am excited to come back tonight for more. Love to all you in Christ Jesus always.

I love it when I get that feeling and I wonder the same thing myself, but at the same time I know that it is all up to God to show me the answer & I know that he will show it to you when the time is right for you to know the answer to the question that you may have. I will pray that you will be shown the answer soon.

Blessings to you and yours,

Megan

Me, Mike (when we were courting) and this prostitute, who lived in the women's res with me at the time, were all in this small room in the Harvest House, and we were praying with her and for her, and I mean, the air was so thick with God's presence, it was like being in a bar full of people, for those of us who can relate to that, or just a very stuffy full building, packed shoulder to shoulder.  His presence was so thick I literally felt like I could scarcely breathe, and I remember thinking how could ANYONE not feel that?  Even the unsaved?  So even the unsaved could have felt something. Mike and I have had many the unsaved come to church with us and feel the Lord's presence, but didn't know that that is what they were feeling at the time.

Mike our pastor was speaking about how Jesus said that we would do GREATER things than He did. Water into wine? raising the dead? giving sight to the blind? healing the sick? NO! sorry yes but the greater things that Jesus had in mind were not mere miracles that often Jesus felt reluctant to do (His first being the water to wine). No Jesus' motive behind all the miracles was love! He said that we would do GREATER things than this. Jesus when in the form of man could only look ONE person at a time in the eye, His love (Although reached millions of us) could only be on a one to one at His earthly ministry. GREATER things? He now lives in each of us! Every Christian has Jesus dwelling in Him/Her! each of us can LOOK at ONE person through the eyes of Jesus and with HIM in us. How many MILLIONS of Christians are there. Next time you LOOK at someone remember that Jesus is IN you and He too is looking at them! Food for thought Huh? Love Stu

Stu...indeed, food for thought! Thanks for sharing...it is a wondrous truth!!

Thanks Anthony, the Holy Spirit works like that!

Lara, I really wonder if they feel anything. Sometimes maybe. My wife's aunt, a non-Christian, cries everytime she visits a church service. She experiences something. Yet she fights it off. Other visitors have come and all they could say was "ho hum". They apparently felt nothing at all given the response, even though folks worshiped their hearts out all around them.

Jules, a Spirit-led worship is a most amazing experience! (Though we also need to realize that the devil can counterfeit even that....convincingly.)

Tim, it is an awesome thing when worship and sermon fit together like a hand/glove. If the Spirit is strong in an assembly, it is more likely the teacher will speak the truth of God's word. (Right?)

Beverly, I humbly pray with you......

Juanita, I share in your prayer, and also praise God that the precious presence of God's Spirit never leaves us alone!

Ran into a good friend tonight at the grocery store. She was so excited to tell me that both her kids (10 and 11) were filled with the Holy Spirit during service yesterday for the first time. God is moving people in His church, both young and old. Praise God! Thought I'd share ;o)
