Everybody, Drink Up!

12:13 For by one Spirit we were all baptized into one body--Jews or Greeks, slaves or free--and all were made to drink of one Spirit.


The Holy Spirit is a drink -- living water.  O taste and see that the Lord is good.

These men are not drunk as you suppose.  No. No.  They haven't been drinking wine.  They have been drinking the Holy Spirit -- new wine. 

And look at the results of their drinking.  They are in the streets rejoicing, praising God with loud voices and speaking in tongues.  My my.  And out of their being drunk in the Spirit 3,000 were added to the church that day.  Perhaps we need some spiritual drunkenness in our day.

Drink up.  Partake of the Holy One.  Come and dine.  Whosoever will, be baptized in the Holy Spirit. Drink up indeed Brother Steve...I'm takin a little sip right now....Ain't nothin like being drunk on the Holy Ghost.....(smile) Hallelujah.....Bless His Holy Name ;o)

Amen, Sister!  And the tab for the new wine has already been paid on the Cross.  Jesus says to all:  "It's on Me."

Brother Steve, Is this that same drink that Jesus said, would flow out of your belly rivers of  living water? Same stuff, Jesus offered to the woman at the well with the only bucket and dripper, she thought Jesus had no means to draw living water. Deep and wide, there's a fountain flowing deep and wide, little ole song we sang in children's church many years ago.
