| NO WEAPON FORMED AGAINST ME SHALL PROSPER! |

Today I was faced with a few comments that I could have let affect me emotionaly, but praise God for his love and forgiveness. I was reminded of my past and the enemy tried to use that against me to bring me down. This person said "it was because he was concerned" but I know that he said them to try to justify as to why he sees me to be unfit.
We all make mistakes in our past that sometimes are not easy to undo, and we can't take them back, but we can only pray that the Lord gives us wisdom on how to work through those mistakes to make things better. When you know in your heart that you have changed regardless of what people say or think nothing else should matter. God is God and his word is truth. He does forgive and forget all our sins. We have been made new creations through the blood of the lamb. All things are passed away and all things have become new through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Sometimes it is so hard to hold my tongue when I am being attacked, but I pray everyday for the Lord to give me strength in that area. I am not perfect nor will I ever be. I can just hope and pray that HE will direct my path daily. No matter what other people say or do, what matters is what God thinks, nothing else. He is one that forgives, not man. The only hope is through Christ! If God is for you than who can be against you? NO ONE! 26:18 To open their eyes, [and] to turn [them] from darkness to light, and [from] the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.

| Forgiven, That is what you are: FORGIVEN. You are standing in the will of God. By holding your tongue you are serving God in a mighty way. We all have a past and that is where it should be in the past. This bring more people down then anything. You can't change it. Letting the past and the people who seen to always bring it up is control. Don't let it be in control. You are a child of the most high God. I admire you for taking your stand and don't let satan take anything away from you. You are the person I want to be standing next to when God comes back.(If we don't go before then). You can do anything through Christ Jesus because you are the forgiven. The past hurts the present and the future,so let your past be your past at last. Pastor Mike |

| Thank you Pastor Mike for your wonderful words of encouragement. They indeed brought me joy. That is why it is wonderful that the whole body of Christ can be there for each other in times like these. Now it is my turn to take back what satan has stole from me with Christ by my side. I assure you that my past is my past..... forever! |

One of my old pastors had a phrase, "let Easter be Easter". In his case he was referring to the process that the Orthodox Church goes through each year, they start the Easter season with asking each other for forgiveness, then tehy spend 40 days repenting, in conjunction with teh new members finishing out their training, then they end up with the celebration of Easter itself. They clearly define each and every year, the old sins are past! If we are in Christ, then we are a new creation, old things are past, and even forgotten, in fact we are noew heirs, sons and daughters of the King himself. God, who so loved us that he gave us His very own Son, so we could be his sons and daughters. Do not let anyone, angel, or man, come back to you and remind you of who you are not! You are now His daughter, and you need to expect to be treated as such !!!! God bless you daughter of the living God !
BTW thanks for reminding me, even after 43 years, satan still tries to bring up the past, it;s about all that he has! |
