There was a book out a few years ago called Dress For Success. It was all about how to look professional and business-like. I found it boring.
However, this Scripture is just the opposite. It tells us how to dress for spiritual success. Spiritually success, rather than requiring certain types of garmets, requires certain charactists and behaviors.
We are commanded to put on compassion. We must feel and care about the pain of others.
We are told to dress in kindness. Christians should be the kindest people on earth -- speaking the truth in love.
Next adorn yourself with lowliness. We must wear genuine humility.
Then put on meekness. We must be flexible and bendable to the direction and voice of the Spirit.
Last we are told to wear patience. "He who endures to the end will be saved."
We should all seek for our spiritual garments those are truly thr only garments that gets God attention, the Garment of Praise is one because He inhabits the praises of His people. We are too busy trying to impress with physical stuff
The verse doesn't say it, but others Scriptures do. We should also dress in thankfulness. Thank you guys for the 3 stars. Thank you, Jesus, for the millions of stars in the heavens.
