Indeed, clothe yourselves w/the Lord Jesus Christ! So are we in fashion? If we are to take the last line of Gal 5:23 literally, these qualities would never be considered out of fashion! However, when they come wrapped in one of the most controversial ppl to ever live (the "one way" and "narrow road"), we are hopelessly out of fashion! lol

We'll be "in fashion" in the great by-and-by where we can wear white no matter what the season. I think I'd rather be in that wardrobe than in any of the fashions of this world ; )

I lack these, but I know that the more I hang out with Jesus, the more I will be conformed into His image. :)

Lara, I've seen you display them on here more than once. I believe you are "dressed" for heaven more than you realize.

Haha. Did you see me throw my kid's truck out the door the other day? hehe. Yep.  Only after 3 or 4 warnings, then it went.  I'm lacking in the patience dept.  I don't need to pray for it---it's constantly tried with a 3 1/2 year old. lol

That just goes along with toddlers. I love my children more than my life, but the year they were 2 and 4 at the same time I cried every day. After I remarried and gained another child, and they were 13, 14, and 15--I cried, yelled, threw things and only God knows what else every day. I have no wooden spoons left from that era, because they were my "weapon of choice." I think there is some humor between the lines in Gen. 4:25-26: "Adam lay with his wife again and she gave birth to a son and named him Seth, saying, 'God has granted me another child in place of Abel, since Cain killed him.' Seth also had a son, and he named him Enosh. At that time men began to call upon the name of the Lord." Nothing drives us to call upon the name of the Lord more than trying to raise kids!

Were you a Christian back then, though?  That's what makes it worse, is thinking like I should be doing better.  but I suppose even a year ago, I'd have taken a hammer and bashed the truck to pieces. lol It's progress.

I was a Christian and filled with the Holy Ghost. You're right, we're all in a process. And you know what else, all my kids grew up fine in spite of it--God does take care of these things, and I'm soooooooooooooooooooooooo glad!
