20:4 "You shall not make for yourself a graven image, or any likeness of anything that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth;

 

Tarot cards.  Pyramids.  Psychic readings.  Astrology signs.  We can recognize those easily for what they are.  Graven images we source instead of God.  Sports teams.  Golf.  Investments.  Television.  Internet.  Work. Those are a little harder to spot as images.  They're such good sources of peace and pleasure.  Now what was it they did with those images when they became idols?

Everything, everyone, every place is an idol god when you do more for and with it than you do for and with God.

I am sure when you said Internet you were including myspace, facebook, iphones, cars, houses, all of those materialistic things that we worship, that have no value because it is being worshipped and not used for the purpose it was created.
