Do you remember when your parents finally treated you as an adult?  For some that is still in process but what a day it is when your parents consider you equals.  They leave you to your decisions and even consult your opinion.  It finally dawns on you that now you need nor longer act as a child.

The same is for us because of Jesus Christ.  We are no longer servants of the law having to measure our lives by status or duty.  Now God treats us as full heirs and suddenly we realize that He is depending upon us to do our part.  He respects our opinions and leaves us to steer our future.  That is how God treats us now and we should rejoice.
