I write not to offend anyone, but only to speak to the heart of those,
that has an ear for the truth. Not my truth but God's truth..My subject
will be on Ministers, I know better than to speak against God's servants.
So before I speak, I will let the word of God speak for it's self.
3:1 Be not many `of you' teachers, my brethren, knowing that we shall receive heavier judgment.
3:2 For in many things we all stumble. If any stumbleth not in word, the same is a perfect man,
able to bridle the whole body also.
I open with that only to say this, I am a person who is always either reading
God's word, writing about it or listening to someone speak it. That is how I
spend a great deal of my day. So when I tell you that the word is being minister
wrong, that is what my spirit is saying to me. And I pondered on this for a minute
before even speaking on this, to allow God to give me the right words to say.
And I believe God's word is not reaching a lot of people because it is not His
word that is going fort. Most ministers build their sermon around a couple of
scriptures, and the rest is just their out look on life. Example a good sermon is
nothing more than a prepared speech. Sermon and speeches are for seminars.
Not for the church, a real man of God knows that scriptures interpret scriptures.
But it is our laziness that cause us to prepare speeches and not minister the word.
Because to really send God's word fort, you must search down all the scriptures
that is connected to the message you plan on giving the people. And Minister now
days don't want to do that, so they give you a how to live speech. And it seem right
but far from God's idea of teaching His people, which is why the peoples soul is not
being fed, only their self esteem. Well now I tell you the truth, the apostles and prophets
of old, used one another scriptures to minister to the people. Jesus Himself used scriptures
to speak to the people at times. Example..when the people ask Him for a sign He said.
12:39 But he answered and said unto them, An evil and adulterous generation seeketh after a sign;
and there shall no sign be given to it, but the sign of the prophet Jonas: 12:40
For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son
of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth.
Wether you know it or not, that was a scripture in part. So if Jesus is speaking from scriptures
why are we making speeches. I would much rather be hearing a word, where only scriptures
are spoke and read, than a sermon, because for a person like me who do read his Bible, I am
getting nothing from a sermon. I feel empty after ward. So I can only imagine what the person
leaves with that read less than me. He or she leave out the way they came in. Still lost and confuse.
3:16 For where jealousy and faction are, there is confusion and every vile deed. 3:17
But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, easy to be entreated,
full of mercy and good fruits, without variance, without hypocrisy.
See these scriptures are interpreting themselves..no variance, in other words no wavering.
There is only one gospel and that is the gospel our Lord Jesus Christ spoke.
And no sermon can do that, just scriptures..because sermons are from man.
1:9 As we said before, so say I now again, If any [man] preach any other gospel unto you than that
ye have received, let him be accursed. 1:10 For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to
please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. 1:11 But I certify
you, brethren, that the gospel which was preached of me is not after man.
So if your church is not growing, it is because Jesus is not being taught in there the way He
should be, the Bible tell us, that if Jesus be lifted up He will draw all men to Him, if men aren't
be dawned to your church this is why.
13:11 And this, knowing the season, that already it is time for you to awake out of sleep: for now is
salvation nearer to us than when we `first' believed. 13:12 The night is far spent, and the day is at hand:
let us therefore cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light.
13:13 Let us walk becomingly, as in the day; not in revelling and drunkenness, not in chambering
and wantonness, not in strife and jealousy. 13:14 But put ye on the Lord Jesus Christ, and
make not provision for the flesh, to `fulfil' the lusts `thereof'.
Romans 13:11-14If you are a Minister, be careful of becoming a false Prophet..
