Last Friday, I had a dream. I dreamed I was in a wonderful old house, and my grandmother and aunt (who are with Jesus) were there with me.
I was about 9 years old, and we were having great fun, talking back and forth. I remember the colors... blues and whites, and their dresses were made of fabric with small floral print.
I walked into a back bedroom, and looked up. The ceiling was sagging, as if it were about to collapse, so I jumped on the bed and put both of my hands up to keep it from falling in, but despite my efforts I could not stop it.
At that point my husband woke me. He told me Mimi was in the hospital again, so I showered and packed and we drove to Arlington.
Mimi is still hospitalized, and sleeps most of the time. It is very difficult to rouse her. She keeps her eyes closed even eating.
She is unable to feed herself or walk any longer. This prohibits her for being a candidate for a rehab or assisted living facility. Papa is heartbroken. The love of his life for 56 years will living away from him.
Please pray.... for God to direct and guide Papa as he finds the right home for his sweetheart. Pray for God to surround Papa and the entire family with His love and comfort, and the peace that surpasses all understanding.
For our God is merciful. He provides for all of our needs, despite how great they may seem. He knows, even when we can't find the words, or get them out of our mouths.
How great is our God... how great is our love! |

Hey sweets. You were heavy on my heart today. I had purchased a book called " A Dog Named Christmas" and I am writing in the margins as I read little notes to you so I can send it to you after. It will likely be this weekend. I have a small box to mail to Crystal (finally Crystal!) and I know it will add some cheer. Life is hard. I understand. I just left the hospital from being with Aaron. We prayed and cried together. Love you! |

Aww Joey this is sad but God is good and will lead Papa to the right dwelling for Mimi. This illness is a hard one to deal with.We are on our third round of it. Even a change of scenery can make a big difference and make it come quicker.
As Mimi is sleeping a lot I did wonder if she is dehydrated . This happened twice to Vickey and we could not get her to waken up she also ended up in hospital and after the had given fluides through her veins she was o.k.They can forget to eat and need to be encouraged.
My thoughts and prayers go to Papa, you and all the family. |
