If we were to meet Christ today, where would He be?

 I think if we were to meet Christ in the streets today, we would have to go down town, to skid row. Because he would be there, with the drug addicts, the pimps, and prostitutes. He would be sitting beside the homosexual. He might even share a bottle of wine with the drunks, trying to warm themselves around the burning trash cans.

We would have to look through the dirt and grime, to try to see who he was. He would not be clean shaven, with neat hair. We would probably have to hold our nose to get close enough to talk to him.

Would we be willing to get close enough to give him a hug? Or would we even go where he was, afraid someone might see us there?

He would definitely be preaching/ministering to the lost.

Gary, interesting thoughts. Given that Jesus often drew large crowds, don't you think he would go to places and do things that would attract larger nos. of ppl? Although I am sure he would walk through such areas, unafraid of the associations, the filth, etc., I think he might fit in with the culture, just as it seems he did in his time. I think we'd find him dressed "business casual", lol. In fact, if he lived in Baltimore, I think we would find him wearing a Baltimore Orioles t-shirt! :-)

hehe, we can speculate, can't we?

   I read a story the other day of a man that saw an "angel in an Astros tee shirt" that was helping the homeless of his neighborhood. Sorry to disagree Mike, but He wears an Astros shirt. LOL
   Gary I think you could see Jesus anywhere there are the lost and hurting. And I think where ever He was, He would "look" different than everyone else, but still fit in. Gereat post and a great thought. Gets one thinking. Blessings my friend.

hmmmmmmmmmm, I think he'd be anywhere he was welcomed.  He came for the sinners, no matter how much the pimp, smoke, drug, stink or prostitute.
I was one of them sinners, thank God he came where I was.......

He would stay at Gary's house for a night or two. Touching everyone in his bubble.

Traveling to the next followers house he would be healing and teaching.

He'd come stay at Ruth and Scott's house and touch everyone's life in their world.

Then travel to the next follower's home healing and teaching along the way.

and so on....

and so on.....
