| My new Initiative |

Hi friends, For some time now I've been seeking the Lord on ways to raise the funds needed for the Missions of Hope in Kericho, Kenya. I believe that God has given me some ideas about generating income from some skills. In fact several people on mychurch have mentioned how much they like my photographs. One friend has even suggested I sell them. So I am now ready to take the plunge. Rather than try to sell photos on this site, I have opened a new shop which you can find at http://www.etsy.com/shop/kericho120 I would appreciate it if you would have a look and if you could recommend the site to your friends and family members, especially those that appreciate photographs of nature. If you scroll down to the bottom right of the shop you will see where you can share with friends, using Twitter, Facebook, etc. I will be adding many more photos in future as time permits. There will be a variety of photos taken and added over time. I also hope to add other items to my shop when I have them. When the crosses arrive within the next short while, I will be uploading them at the Etsy shop as well. Please do pray for the Lord to bless this labour of love. God bless each of you. Please, we ask humbly you provide the means in abundance. Let this fruit prosper beyond any imagination that you may be glorified and your children cared for!

Dear Father in Heaven, I ask that you bless Penny's efforts as she endeavors to
raise funds for her friends and your children in Kenya. What a servant she is, Oh
God! What a compassionate and faithful person you have created! May her dream be realized as you grant her the wisdom that she needs to carry it forward.

Patricia, my love and faithful friend, I so much thank you for your wonderful prayer.You know my heart and I know yours :-) God loves you and so do I. One thing I'm looking into at this time before uploading more photos is how to keep the people in the big wide world out there from simply downloading myphotos without paying for them. Two people (friends) have already told me they did just that and are concerned for the endeavour. I've written to Etsy HQ to see what they can advise. I guess I could always put a big ole' watermark right smack dab in the middle of the photos. so even if they were copied, they wouldn't look too purty :-) I'll wait to hear back from Etsy HQ first and se eif they can offer a different solution. Two folks have told me I could do business at another site but I happen to like this one :-)...God is able..Amen?! |
