| Threat with a Deadly Weapon |

I can't imagine a Christian pulling a loaded gun on someone and threatening them to move over or get out of the way, but do we threaten people with another deadly weapon, a moving vehicle? A safe distance is four seconds behind. A safe distance if you are not tired or elderly or distracted is 3 seconds. An bare minimum safe distance is 2 seconds. A direct threat with a deadly weapon is one second or less. At that distance if something happened, a child crossing the street, or a deer on the freeway, or a tire blown, we would be directly to blame for a rear-end collision with possible deadly consequences. Fellow Christian, let's not act like the world and threaten people with a deadly weapon.
10:27 And he answered, "You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself." |
