	Nick's blog Stars: 0 | Readers: 0 | RSS feed | View all entries My Church star it | 2 comments | December 27, 2006 at 9:56pm | email it | 711 reads   Here's the deal.  I haven't added my church on here intentionally.  I'm a worship leader at a church in Birmingham, AL.  My delima is that me and my fiance Kelsey don't have a peer group at our church.  So, it's basically just my job and we're having trouble finding a community to be a part of.  So, I joined mychurch hoping that I could begin some sort of online fellowship with believers.  Granted this will not work as a substitute for true community, but it will help me have some actual discussion in the mean time.  So, with all that said, feel free to challenge me with anything that you've been learning, teaching or struggling with lately.  We may be an entire continent away from each other, but we're still part of one body. I'm in Michigan, a youth pastor/ assistant worship leader and our church is great exept for the fact that there is no real small group ministry. Basically at this point, onceyou're out of youth group and enter college, there's a state of limbo until you either have kids and can join the mom's group or something like that. I've been wanting to find a small group type of enviroment to grow and fellowship in for a while...online and in person. I guess what i'm saying is that the idea of an online fellowship and discussion sounds good to me and please let me know what God's doing in your life. I have a sister and brother-in-law in Vestavia Hills! You live in a beautiful area. I was really touched by your blog. I too am a worship leader and now Pastor of a church we have launched here in this area. I think it's amazing that we have the ability to fellowship on-line and share as the body of Christ.
