Have you ever heard something like this? Christians are so pushy! Or that we are always trying to push our beliefs on people. And maybe we can be guilty of that no matter how well intentioned we may be. So what can we do? How can we show people Jesus without seeming pushy.

Many times the simplest answers are the hardest to see, (that being the case I am as blind as anyone). We must be like Jesus! Jesus was always out in front of people allowing His actions to do most of the talking. And this has and always will be the best to move people. We must pull them to us like a loved one who shares a warm embrace with us. Perhaps this is why when Jesus gathered his first disciples He told them simply, “Follow Me”.

Maybe like myself you feel uncomfortable being in front of many people. I learned quickly though that if I wanted to walk on water I had to step out of the boat. It is ok to step outside our comfort zone Jesus will always be there to take us by the hand when we need rescuing.

You will find that your actions are the more powerful then any spoken word, and best form of evangelism. People will come to you wanting to know what your secret is for the good life. Then like our Lord you can say with all the love in your heart, “Follow Me”, and show them Jesus.
