| Community is so important. I've known this, but I don't know if I've really felt it. I've been feeling really encouraged lately by my friends/my community. I love them and this blog is basically just my praise to Jesus! Jesus himself traveled with 12 guys. People that he mentored, people that he did life with, and people that he trusted and relied on. Imagine each of us having 12 solid people in our lives to fill us with encouragement, accountability, love, and hope. I'm excited to see what God has in store for me this year. New chapter, new me. I'm ready :). |

lol ("blog fellowship") ... cute!
Real Christ-centered fellowship is soooo important. It's done me a world of good to know other guys who love Jesus and want to talk about him and how we can know/serve him better. ~mike |

| Im looking forward to a men's fellowship starting up at my home church soon, I think accountability and support are awful important in a time when a christian walk is getting farther and farther off society's norm. |

| yeah it's funny because it was one of my prayers and worries with starting college and staying here while everyone's moving. but i think god might be one step ahead of me. weird huh ;)? |

| God didn't mean for us to be alone. We were created to worship Him and with a need to be with other. Many times we are tempted to do the Christian thing alone. We are afraid to really share what's going on in our life with other Christians because we want them to think we don't have it all together or that good Christians don't struggle with some thing that we do.We need other Chrisitnans to pray for us,keep us accountable, spar us on,and just to be with. |

racun, i totally agree with you! this comment was very encouraging because even though i know all that in my head, i dont always know it in my heart. thank you for the wonderful reminder! much needed.
i feel as if god's just been really humbling my heart lately. prides something we all struggle with, but something that ive felt had become really real to me. i want real christians. real christians who STRUGGLE....so why wouldn't the next person right?
college has really opened the door for christian fellowship. and in the most random places. you'll probably see many more blogs on the topic. vulnerability is a tough thing, and imperfection is real....it's hard to fully open up to people sometimes ya know? |

Jordan, I am not completely alone in this, but, I met everyone who is important in my life at college. I was involved in the Jesus people movement. All the people I met there became the people who have formed the rest of my life. If I didn;t meet the people then, they introduced me to the rest. May God bless this year as a great starting point for your life! |
