1:1 Blessed [is] the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. 1:2 But his delight [is] in the law of the LORD; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. 1:3 And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The verses above emphasise the importance of walking with God in obedience. It is like walking hand-in-hand with your father on an outing to a fair. There are many people walking everywhere, and you need to hang on to your father for your safety. Just imagine your feeling of being overwhelmed by these numbers of people rushing past you. Maybe you feel the presence of your father but somehow something attracts you and you ask your father to take you to that place. Maybe your father doesn't want you to go there, because it is not good for you. Just think about this; it is your choice whether to stay with your father for safety, or go out to that place on your own. It means if you don't listen to your father's advice, you will end up in a mess and in trouble. You will need God's Word to stay in God's loving arms for your own safety.
I pray that God will strengthen you and uphold you when it comes to any kind of trouble. May God bless you in all you do for His glory. Stay with Him and tell the world about Jesus.
