 Ponytails, fingernails and new shoes; Haircuts, Backpack guts and Scout dues... Those were the days and the ways that Used to be.
College talk, purity walk and cell calls;
Presidential leadership and firewalls... Light the horizon of what we've Yet to see.
From holding hands, squeezing tight, sunglasses hiding tears, To driving through, quick goodbyes, barely changing gears. Babies grow up, this much is true, but I'm not sure Mommies ever do. All of this rambling just to record how very much I love you.
