So who's sinning now?

In retrospect, having written the blog I did yesterday, I am no better than the Pharisee in Luke 18:10-14 who thinks he is better than others.

Time to look at myself honestly and critically and at others through the eyes of Jesus.
What kind of hypocrite sees the speck in his brother’s eye and then quickly runs to tell someone else about it? Who is the judgmental so-and-so that can so easily criticize another? Yes, the answer has to be me, me and me.

Sorry about that negative input fellow travelers – having done some serious introspection, with a whole lot of help I’ll eventually change. And for the folks who cross my path, I’ll have far more compassion in future than in the past.

Great email doing the rounds about the empty 'thank you' room in heaven. If you haven't seen it, let me know and I'll forward.

Hey Bev,
Short and sweet and to the point. Yes, I will continue to fall into the same hole becasue I am not yet made whole in Him. One day we will shine like Him and the hole will be filled in.

The Christian walk is definitely not for sissies!!!

Just emphasises daily of how much we need the Lord to strengthen us.

However, I don't think we can afford to be "wishy washy" for fear of appearing

to be unloving when a brother or sister is erring.(I am also guilty of "keeping
the peace" - perhaps more unloving than a gentle rebuke ?).
