Name Dropping That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:9)
Have you ever talked to someone and every time you say something, the person drops a name of someone who has done it better? Have you ever heard people constantly drop names of famous people or those they consider very important? They say they know a certain person, lived next door to a certain person, sat on an airplane next to a certain person or went to school with a certain person.
Being a name dropper doesn't prove you are important. So why continue to drop someone else's name? Do something special so people can drop your name. Better yet, drop the name of Jesus. In doing so, three names will be dropped. Jesus, the name above every name; your name as having led that person to Christ; and the other person's name that will be written in the Lamb Book's of Life.
If you want to drop a name, drop a name that matters: Jesus Christ!
