I love this verse.  It was one of my daily Psalms today.  It is such a wonderful promise to cling to.  No one has ever said the Christian life is easy.  We certainly still have troubles and trials just like everyone else, BUT in those dark times, we have a light that helps us make it through to the other side.  

When we go through the darkest of times -- through a gut wrenching and heart breaking divorce -- there is light.  Even when it seems there is not enough money to pay the bills -- there is light.  Even when you have to face that your child is "different" -- there is light. 

No matter what darkness satan may throw at us, the Lord is gracious and gives us light to make it through.
