| Fabulous Friday |
|
| |
It looks like it is going to be another scorcher today, but I don't mind. I woke up with my two dogs staring at me from beside the bed, tails wagging, thrilled I opened my eyes and could finally greet them with a few scratches under their chins. I had clean water to bathe in and drink, clean clothes to wear, and clean cheeks to kiss when I met up with my teenagers for a quick gab session before we each headed out to work/school.
Traffic was light, McD's still has their giant Diet Coke for 69 cents, my coworkers have already made me laugh three times and there is a lovely breeze coming through the door.
I have friends who trust me enough to share their prayer needs with me. I have had meetings that could have been acrimonious, but turned out to be a delight. I mean it: a delight! The Lord has placed me in a position to serve him that may be challenging, but He is right here beside me, no matter the outcome.
And it's Friday!
I Love my Savior!
Praise the LORD. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever. - Psalm 106:1 |

Amen sister Sooz, It is a fabulous Friday and for me it will be the last workday for a week. That makes it even more fabulous. I'm not doing anything special, but once in a while we need a break from the routine of everyday work, and that is what I am looking forward to.
So I will praise God with you as we end a week of work.
Praise be to the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, "Amen!" Praise the LORD. Psalm 106:48.
Thanks for sharing your fabulous friday with us and reminding us to Praise the Lord! peace Glenn |
