Reading my devotions this morning and I came upon a wonderful word.

Undisturbedness

Isn't that a great word?

I don't know if you struggle like I do staying calm in the face of life's storms.

But when I read this word this morning it really spoke to me. We all go through problems that perplex us and confuse us. It is hard not to be disturbed. I just got off the phone with a church member who was upset because of what one of her family members is facing today. She has every right to be disturbed. But the point of the devotion this morning is to draw from the undisturbedness of Jesus. In our own strength we can't find the peace in the middle of the storm but Jesus can give us what we can't generate in our own strength.
