| Mark 8: 22-26 |

Today in Children's Church, my team and I were going to teach on Mark 8:22-26, Jesus heals a blind man at Bethsaida.
I spent time in the loft, re-reading the four verses over again. At the beginning of Children's Church, the kids played a game where one of them was blindfolded and the other had to guide them. It became extremely clear that God was impressing upon me that we are all blind men.
We flatter ourselves by thinking that we can clearly see what God is about to do. We concern ourselves with our future..but we are blind to it. We see fragments of whats to come...but it looks like "trees walking around". We are blind men that must trust in the Lord to be our guide. He must be the one to open our eyes. |
