Water in some fashion has been on my brain a lot lately. See here, here, here, and hidden in here. I know there are more references but those are the ones I could find in under a minute.
So 30 minutes or so ago, I wake up with this feeling of foreboding. I sit in bid listening for noises in the darkened house. I hear some, but nothing major. But there's enough that I can't get back to sleep. So I stumble over to the computer and scan the latest happenings. And then off in the distance the sound of thunder. When I looked at the weather map last night it was supposed to be clear and beautiful, so windows were left open. A quick check of the weather channel shows that that has changed and now there's the possibility of rain all day.
I'm going to go back to bed now having closed the windows, but I'm leaving with one of my favorite folk songs (it was either this, "Puff, the Magic Dragon" or "Where Have All the Flowers Gone?", but I think those last two are a different message)
Well, I hope your feeling of foreboding has left...
...BTW, whenever I see that "walk" symbol used at most crosswalks these days, I think of this song...the figure used in the light reminds me of a crooked little man...
