Tonight's potluck dinner at church.  I think Coach Nute is planning on bringing a Boston Butt, so I had planned on bringing something that would go good with that.  Well, it turns out, I don't really have much in my pantry that goes good with BBQ.  I do have the stuff to make some crockpot dishes, so that's what I'm making...  Slowcooker Salsa Chicken (I'll bring some tortillas to go with that) and Zesty New Potatoes.  I got the Salsa Chicken going in my big crockpot and then went to prepare the potatoes for my smaller crockpot.  Well, I think I should've done the potatoes first because they barely fit in my smaller crockpot!!  I think the chicken would've fit fine in my smaller crockpot, too.  Oh, well, that's life!  I think it'll be fine, though, if I can stir the potatoes around before I leave to take the kids to the dentist.  Then the top potatoes can get a little heat, too. 

I'm just thankful for CrockPots!!  I've got so much to do this afternoon, I won't have much time to fix anything before we have to leave for church.  I think I'll also bake a peach cobbler (quick & easy) before we go, too.  That would be good with all the leftover ice cream from Sunday night.

Well, I just realized Greg left his cell phone at home this morning.  Maybe I can get out of the house a little earlier than I had planned and get it to him.
