  I often forget that being a christian is a relationship of two lovers.  It's hard to love someone when you can't see them physically, so I often put God, and all that ties in to Him, on the back burner.  I have been single for like 2 years waiting for God to bring me my wife. (I do say wife cause I don't thing God really likes dating, no offense to those of you that do) I say that not for pity or anything along those lines, but to say that I can trust God to bring me someone to love but God can't trust me to give myself to him as someone to love.  It must break his heart.  It's so funny how it takes certain signs in your life to bring your attention to Him.

I agree that if you trust God He will bring you a wife! I'm not a big fan of dating either-I believe every part of you should be saved for your spouse. What more could you give, other than your entire self, that would mean so very very much? Nothing at all! You are correct though-your relationship with God is such a love story, too! The more I fall in love with Josh the more I understand the way God loves me, and the more I want to give of myself.

Intimate is the word. I know that make's people uncomfortable, but God wants to be intimate with us. He wants to spend time with us; with us loving Him. It takes us to places that are undescribable. The question is....do we want to take the time and make the effort to spend this wonderful time with him. He draws us close, but we have to go. On our faces with tears and snot running is not what we are willing to do sometimes, but everytime it is amazing. The feeling of being loved and the peace it brings it what the garden experience must have felt like before the serpent. Let him dwell with you and dwell with him. Be IN love.

It's a good thing that you found out now that God doesn't need any help. He has a plan for you and He has covered all parts of your life. I'll give you a little hit stop looking for your wife, seek God with all your heart and then one day when you least expect it she will be right in front of you. Just trust in God, He only has good things plan for you. And time really is your friend.
