Little Mountain Church House


Today I traveled back in time to a little mountain church house where I first heard the Word I base my life upon. 

Small Country Church just outside of Cleveland, GA

This is the very first church my mom and dad held services for the House of Prayer which is now located in Mount Airy Georgia.  God has brought us all a mighty long way. 

33 years ago my Mom and Dad stood here as Pastors

Hope seeing this picture will encourage many of you who are working on a vision the Lord has given you for ministry. 

Time passes and Life continues - Seeing my Mother in Me.

 I was about 4-5 years old when my parents held a many Holy Ghost fire baptised services in this small quaint church that was so much larger in my childhood memories. 

 Present Day:  The House of Prayer established 1976

Praise God for parents who followed a vision!!!!

HomeComing 2007 coming up in October!!  We will be Praiseing Jesus for 31yrs of ministry!!

I was thinking the same thoughts you wrote in your blog as we passed by the little country church on the hill yesturday.    And all I can say is what our Apostle says when the Spirit of the Lord begins to move "I see Jesus"    

WooooHooooo   Praise Jesus for a group of people that keep pressing forward toward the prize of the Hight Calling!!

God has brought us so far and continues to take us further. The vision grows stronger and greater with each year that passes and I'm so thankful that I can say, "Look what I've been apart of!" We truly have a rich and blessed heritage. I'm proud yet also humbled at what God has allowed our family to do. Thanks you Jesus for your blessing on me!

Small world.  This past weekend Uncle Derrell and I set off for a few days to celebrate our anniversary of 33 years.  We went back to Fort Payne, Ala to where we set up a tent 35 years ago.  This was all part of the same ministry that started in this little country church.  This trip to brought back so many memories and a new look at what all God has done and how He has grown our ministry at The House of Prayer.

There is no one who can sing like my Aunt Cilla!  My favorite is "Everything Looks Brighter When I Pray!"  What a wonderful legacy she is leaving her children.  Aunt Cilla is a devoted mother, grandmother, and of course Aunt!
