In this day and age we are bombarded with all kinds of knowledge whether from books , TV, Internet or what have you. Knowledge is great , but if you don't have wisdom it is useless. Knowledge-understanding gained by actual experience, something learned and kept in mind. These are just two of the meanings of the word. I have literally met people who would have to ask for instructions on how to boil water ,or would have a box of cake mix with all the instructions on the box and be as lost as last years tax return. The place where I work at hires several temps to get the summer push done, and I was given one to train and we were going over the safety guidelines, and I discovered something amazing he could not read. High school graduated , or he was supposed to be. whereas wisdom is the way you use all that knowledge. Wisdom- a wise attitude and course of action. Most parents tell their kids what to watch on TV or not to watch. All the knowledge is fine ,but without the wisdom to use it ,it could be dangerous. Science is vast knowledge but hardly any wisdom to make the correct choices. Teaching our kids all the book knowledge is fine , but they need to acquire the wisdom also to make the best use of that knowledge. I have met some very "dumb"smart people and some wise "dumb" people in my life. Be Blessed!
