It is well said that one of the factors, if not the primary, that keeps us from achieving the best in our life for God is fear.
When we are challenge to step up for God, make new changes in our life, start a new church cell, be a volunteer for the youth or children's programs, start a new business, etc. we'll always be confronted with fear when challenged with a new task.
The bible says" 1:7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
This weapon against the children of God must be destroyed in your life in order to reach your full potential for God has already proclaimed in his will and word that He gave us not a spirit of fear but POWER, LOVE and SOUND MIND.
Let's see what fear reallly is:
False Evidence Appearing Real
See, the enemy wants you to believe that you will not conquer your goals, your challenges, your doubts. He wants to keep you down because as long as you are down you will not fight the good fight. You'll stay a wounded and weak soldier for Christ.
These is what we need to remember evrythime that fear wants to stop us.
1. God has already seen and declare the victory in your life:
8:37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
He knows the final outcome, he knows you'll be victorious. Joshua surely had fear because of the big responsability now on his shoulders but God gave him comfort and strength by letting him know the He was with Him.
2.God is with you always and will not forsake you.
He promised to be with us always and that is a great comfort. Whatever he has called you to do be asure trhat you are not by yourself. he will be with you to guide you, give strenght and courage. He will surround you with the right people to accomplish the task. He will protect you from any weapon that comes against you...
See, it's not that you are not going to feel fear, it's about walking strong even when you are fearful, It's about not giving up, it's about believing that if God has brought you to it He will take you trough it.
It's about trusting God.
3. Trust 100 % in God and He will do it. 37:5 Commit thy way unto Jehovah; Trust also in him, and he will bring it to pass.
Do not let fear conquer you and determine what will be your outcome. God has already declared what will be your outcome: Victory.
You are a child of God, you are the most precious in God's eyes. Do not let the enemy intimidate you.
Remember always, if you fill your mind with God's promises, there is no room for fear.
