Do yourself the favour to not only read verses in your Bible but to actually ready a whole Bible book at a time.
I have noticed the following while reading all the books of the new testament: 1. All the apostles letters start with: Grace and peace to you ... 1:7 ... Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. 2. Paul ends his letters with a blessing: The grace of God will be with you all. 13:13 13:14The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, [be] with you all. Amen. <[The second [epistle] to the Corinthians was written from Philippi, [a city] of Macedonia, by Titus and Lucas.]> 3. Paul did not write all his letters. 16:21 The salutation of me Paul with mine own hand.
4. Certain Bible verses obtain a new meaning when it is read in the context of the whole book and not in isolation.
The hardest thing for me after reading and re-reading some of the books in the Bible is to change this knowledge into good works for the Lord. Will you pray for me? 1:5 Yea, and for this very cause adding on your part all diligence, in your faith supply virtue; and in `your' virtue knowledge; 1:6 and in `your' knowledge self-control; and in `your' self-control patience; and in `your' patience godliness; 1:7 and in `your' godliness brotherly kindness; and in `your' brotherly kindness love.
