It’s cake time! Can you believe it? Tomorrow, it will have been a whole year since MyChurch went live. And not only are we still live, but all 9,200 churches here are a-live and kicking. As we reminisce on what this last year has been for us, we become in awe of the ways God allows for each of our paths to cross. We hope you’ve been encouraged. We hope you stay connected. And we hope you continue to find more ways to share your journey of faith… whether it be with your church, friends, family, neighbors, and even strangers. Before we dive into massive cake hysteria (no utensils!), we thought it’d be sweet for all of us to log our favorite/memorable firsts here at MyChurch. We’ll get the party started with a few of our favorite firsts (chime in with your comments!):  Our first mug-shot :)
The first coolest video ever! The first purple sleeping bag that had a crazy mind of it’s own MyChurch’s first 50,000 members And of course, our favorite incredibly awesome Volunteer Staff - hugs to you all!

**Moments...Finding you all when I was getting ready to spend months with my
injured warrior, Daniel, and being held in His arms by your prayers.
**Returning the favor of all of your prayers, praying for Virginia and so many others.
**Watching the excitement of Heather and Jordan and Kris as they talked about their
journeys start, leaving for college.
**the joy of hearing about the missions, New Orleans, and a purple sleeping bag
growing into windows
**Hearing of a young girls awakening to deeper spirituality and prayer during her
mission trip to NO.
**Seeing person after person grow into their gift of writing, some slow and gentle, some
with power and authority, stories of foxes, retrievers, and walking with God.
But over all these things lies the blanket of encouragement. People walking in His shadow, flowing with the Holy Spirit, giving and recieving healing and love from each other, being the church. In fact, seeing the unity of a bride who is having her dress made pure and white as snow.
John 17:11...Holy Father, protect them by the power of your name—the name you gave me—so that they may be one as we are one.
That they may be one! May it continue to be! Thank you staff, your gift to us has been immense! May this be a witness and testimony of His love, "may we be one". |

My favorite has been when through the prayers and giving of the MyChurch family, Calvary Community Church was able to replace and install windows in the house of a hurricane Katrina victim. Praise God !!

Wow! One year already! My, my... time does fly when you're having fun,
working hard, and spreading the Word of Our Lord! Many thanks for all
you are doing via MyChurch.org, the many hours of volunteer time it takes
to keep the site up and running, and the absolute dedication and LOVE each
