| Weakness is Strength |

Vulnerability is not something that very many people today hold in high regard. Showing emotions like sadness or even crying can be looked down on by many people. To be in control all the time and to never share your feelings seems to garner more respect. When I was a soldier many times I was frowned upon for sharing my feelings. I think this has happened to many of us in one regard or another. When you do have problems, how can you drop your guard? How can you let others see you are hurting ? Who can you turn to? It takes real courage to be honest and risk being weak when others may not understand. Jesus showed that same courage many times. Jesus understands. Our Lord showed His vulnerable side on regular basis, He showed His emotions to everyone regardless of their thoughts. We all know that can be very risky.
When Lazarus died Jesus wept, when He felt dismayed He took time for Himself for prayer. Jesus understands our dilemmas because He face them all. He will never think you are foolish or make fun of you. When we show are emotions to Christ He will give us strength. 2:3 And I was with you in weakness and in much fear and trembling;
