| What's Your Favorite Story About God's Provision? |
|
| |
I thought it would bring God glory for us to share our different stories of how the Lord has provided our needs. How has the Lord proven Himself to be Jehovah Jireh in your life?
Here is my all time favorite story in my life.
Years ago, when I was in mountains of debt, my brother asked me to go to Ocean City. My response was "I don't have the money." So he offered for me to clean his house to pay my way. So I went, but with very little spending cash. And you know how it is at the beach; by the last day, you are eating a bag of pretzels for dinner :) So here I am on the last day, with no money. So I figured I would just have an involuntary fast for the day :)
So during the day, I was enjoying one of my favorite past times. I just love to read a book down by the water, with the waves brushing up against my feet. I was sitting there, and the Lord in His great mercy sent a wave, and a $20 bill wrapped around my sand chair! I couldn't believe my eyes! I just love when God does things just for little ole me!! I get so excited! So I had enough money to make it through the last day and to eat something more filling than a bag of pretzels. Is God awesome, or what?!?! Someone once said to me "that's no miracle, some poor soul lost $20." And my response was "You go to the ocean, sit in a sand chair down by the water, and you can come home after $20 wraps around your sand chair!" It still amazes me how God would tend to such a minor detail.
Okay, now it's your turn. What's your story?
4:19 And my God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Here is just one story of many. Back in 1998 when my husband and I got married, we were looking to buy a house. We thought that the best way to do that was to look for a HUD house, so we did. We started looking for HUD homes, well we came across this house that was going for 170,000, and at that time we thought that was a little high, but we really liked the house and the neighborhood. We went and put a bid on the house, then a few days later we found out that someone else bid higher, so we were out of our house that we wanted. I was disapointed, but I knew the Lord knew best, so we just kept looking through the list of homes and I guess about 3 weeks or so go by, and what do you know the same house is back on the market, the man that won the bid before had lost his job and was unable to keep the house and now instead of the house going for 170,000 it was going for 101,500 so we put in another bid, and what do you know . We have now been living here for 9 years and we still love it. Toni |

Hi Sue, God's provision (the things he gives us that we need -- when we need them!) is awesome, but I usually only say that after I've received. HAHA! I don't really have time to type up a full account here, but I'd say the house our family lives in is my favorite example. There was so much going on that was just supernatural (for lack of a better word). From the contract on our home to the selling of our old one. Great story! You'll have to come over some time to hear it all. Actually come to think of it, didn't we tell you the last time you came? Well, if not, there's your ticket to another invite! :-) ~mike |

| There are too many times to count them. But I will share one that was truly amazing. I do ministry full-time and raise my own support. I was about to go on a trip to Nebraska to do some ministry. I was going to be gone for five days and we were broke. No money to pay the bills. No money to pay for gas. Nothing. So I went to prayer and told God I needed $400.00 in 24 hours. I didn't know where it would come from, but I asked for it. The funny part is that he told me to go andask a certain person for the money. He had just started coming to one of my groups, so I felt awkward asking him for money, so I didn't. That night I was sharing with my men's group what my need was and asked them to join me in prayer. The man that God laid on my heart was there, he stood up and asked if I had gotten his message. Apparently he had left me a message earlier in the day saying he wanted to pay for my trip. When I went by his house to pick up the check it was made out for $400.00. The best part of all was that I was praying to God at 5:00 pm, and this man left me a message at 12:30. God had already met my need before I even asked Him too. THAT IS AWESOME! |

Part two. I went on my trip to Nebraska and on the way, I stopped for gas. A random stranger gave the wrong pump number and paid for my gas by mistake. I paid for hers buty it was $20.00 less. Then I went and spoke to a group of guys and as we were leaving a guy handed me a $100.00 bill. Another guy and his wife insisted on paying for our hotel room for the night. So I gort blessed with 170.00 dollars extra that I ended up needing. So I asked God for $400.00. But my need was closer to $600.00. Not only did He provide me with what I asked for, He made provision for what I thought I needed.
I've seen this kind of thing happen several times in the last ten years. It is awesome to see God prove his love over and over and over. |

| Over twenty years ago before I got saved I had visited Tampa Florida, right then and there I knew I wanted to live there. I did not have no money no job nothing in order for me to even start to get this move in action. It was in my heart that one day it would happen. I had to make some choice concerning my life, I move twice to different Cities in New York, then after living in the second place for 25 years, and after I gave my life to Jesus, I started Planing my move still did not have any money but I did have a vision and a Job and in going for this job I wasn't sure I was not going to get it because back where I use to live I had a beach warrent out for not apprearing in court, I prayed. The job took finger prints and it came back with a clean record, and I got the job, now you know that was God. Fours years after that, I sold all my furniture and move to Florida. Then after I got here I was bless with a home full of furniture. He Is my Provider, He is my everything |

| These are all real cool storys of Gods love in action, I guess if i wanted to share one it would be when I was trying to quit smokeing. I tried many times but no good, I knew i needed to stop but i just didn't want to. Then we signed on to help drive the youth to a summer camp and help out, the camp did not allow smokeing anywere on its property. I had a talk with the Lord and said if you want me to do this you need to take the desire for smokeing away because i liked it, really didn't see any sin in it and didn't want to quit deep down. I put them away to try it one last time and never have had any desire for them since. O there was a few weeks when i think of them but nothing i couldn't handle, 25 year habit gone since 1980. All glory to Christ Jesus our Lord |

| True Story: First time I moved out from my parents house, I rented a cheap little apartment. After I paid the deposit and first month's rent I was b-r-o-k-e. I was plannin on eatin Ramin Noodles for the next month. Well, the next day I got home from work and there was a card board box full of canned food and a BIG-ole frozen turkey. Nobody knew where I lived except for my parents, but I called them and they said they didn't do it. Well when I emptied the box, I found a little note inside that said "Compliments of Clayton Elemetary School". I laughed out loud because I didn't have any kids, and couldn't figure out why they would have given this food to me. So I called them up the next day and asked. Turns out they meant to give the food to a mexican kid's family that used to live in that apartment before me... Well long story short, the school did some research and found that the family had moved out of state. They told me just to keep the food. I ate of that food for almost a year! (the canned food, not the turkey) |

There are so very many, but here is one to prove you cannot out give God and he will show you if you trust him. Years ago, a woman at work's daughter had a still born baby. Well as you know, insurance for a burial is just something you don't carry on your unborn child. A collection was being taken up to help with the burial and I got out my check book and felt the Lord speak to my heart - give $100. I said Lord, I really don't have $100, but I will obey You. I wrote the check and forgot about it. I just thought I would have to wait a week to pay a bill. That Sunday morning at Church, I opened my Bible to turn to the scripture the Pastor was reading from. There between the pages was a fresh $100 bill. It hadn't been there earlier. God had used someone to help build my faith (I had told no one about the check I wrote). About a year later, a woman I knew was doing a fundraiser for her church. I always want to support any Christian church so I was going to plant seed into her church. Again I felt impressed of the Lord, give $100. Of course I had to sass God again and said, I need to give $100 into my church for at that time it was very small and had many needs (I know, I'm the Pastor's wife). Again, I just obeyed and wrote her a check for $100. The following Sunday at church a beautiful woman visitor came to me after the service and put something in my hand. She said this is for the Church, but the Lord told me to place it directly in your hand. Yep, you guessed it - - it was a fresh $100 bill. Now as we say down here in the south AIN'T GOD GOOD? He is... all the time. |

| I just have to share this amazing story. Way back in 1982 long before I thought about giving my life to Christ, I was a single mom, living on welfare and lived to party. I was living in a housing project that was full of drugs and violence and it was time to get a better life for me and mt kids. I did not have a job or any skills to get a job-so I thought! God knew better. My case worker told me about a house on section 8 however he said it was in a nice part of town. The day before his call I went for a job interview that required experience and college-Why did I think I would ever get that position? Anyway it was for an Activity Assistant in a Nursing Home and it was on the other side of town. I did not have a reliable car even if I got the job. When my case worker called about the house I was excited for my kids and myself so I thought I would check it out. He gave me the address and I got into my broken down car with my kids for the ride to see the house. As Iwas driving I realized this was the same direction I drove for my interview. As I arrived at my destination I could not beleive my eyes. The Nursing Home was directly across the street-30 feet to be exact from the house. Now this is ironic-so I thought. The next day I went back to the Nursing Home and asked to speak to the Administrator. I told him I was a single Mom, living in unsafe conditions and trying to make a better life for my kids, then I told him about the house across the street. He said young lady this is an act of God! I really didn't care to hear that back then but I agreed with him anyway. To make a long story short-I got the job, I got the house and worked there for 10 years. As I look back on thisBlessing I am amazed. God set it all up. He placed me a job that required College education, experience in that fiel and I had none of the above. They gave me a chance and from that I am now one of the most respected Life Enrichment Coordinators in the state of Florida. I have mentored many throughout the years and 2 years ago God Blessed me a job in a Christian Assisted Living. God knew way back then that one day I would use this story as a testimony to how awesome HE is. It was his plan for my life and I am so thankful to Him for this amazing gift. God took an alcoholic/drug dependent/depressed young 25 year old girl and made me into a productive successful woman. I am now 55 years old, saved and ON FIRE for the LORD. |

I just want to say proudly, that I am a grown man and as I read this tears were streaming down my face.
God certainly is Awesome! My story is a little different...as usual. lol.
When I was twenty six, I was your typical bachelor "Non-Practicing" Christian... But I did recognize that I was headed down the wrong path and I felt that I needed to settle down. Not long after having these feelings God provided for me the one thing I truly needed more than anything in this world... My wife and step-daughter. It was Valentines day 2000. About 700PM I answered the door to my home and standing there with the most beautiful smile on her face was my wife Stacey. I could instantly tell there was a connection between us. To make a long story short, three days later I told her I loved her (The first woman I had ever said that to) and then 35 short days later we were married. To this day we have yet to have a "fight" and have 3 wonderful children (the newest will be born in Jan 2008). The strange thing is, is that even though I knew I wanted a family, I am not sure I prayed for it, because I didn't pray an awful lot back then. But what I do know for sure that is God knew what I needed most and he wanted me to have this family... Everyday I get to rejoice in the wonderful gifts you have given me. Thank you Lord! |

When my oldest grandson Steven was born it was a joyous time for all of my family. This was the first baby in our family in quite some time, and it was my first grandchild. He was a healthy, handsome, baby boy. My mother and I were there the day they bought Steven home. His mother was feeding him as they told her to do but he just kept crying, and did not seem to be satisfied, but she had been told not to feed him but at certain times and that is what she did. By bedtime that night he had finally quieted down but when she went to feed him before going to bed herself he would not wake up to eat. They rushed him to the emergency room and doctors did blood work and could find no reading for sugar in his blood. Had they waited any longer I would not be writing this story of healing They started IVs and he started responding. They could not keep his sugar levels up even with frequent feedings, so he was trasferred to Duke and diagnosed as hypoglycemic. He was on medication for a while and having to be tested everyday, several times a day. His poor little toes were so blue from all the pricks to check his blood sugar.
Today Steven is a healthy 7 year old and not on any medication for this condition. Through the prayers of the saints GOD HEALED THAT LITTLE BOY WITHOUT A SHADOW OF DOUBT. I BELIEVE, I BELIEVE!!!
OUR GOD IS AWESOME! |

Wow these stories are testimony to the fact that we serve the One true God!!!
Years ago I didn't have a church, but the Lord was revealing Himself in some fantastic ways and I longed for fellowship. I only knew one believer and she lived a ways from my home. I was sitting with her in a field on her farm and she had her back to the barn. We were sitting there enjoying the day and sharing stories and I see this white horse. He's charging at us from the barn, and I say to my friend, "what is that horse doing?" She screams "Oh No he's at it again, and takes off running...I was froze and thought ," Yea though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death I will fear no evil.... and I put my hand up like stop and said stop in the name of Jesus....and it looked almost like a cartoon or something in a movie...the horse screeched to a stop and started to buck and pass gas....my friend is going how did you do that I knew I hadn't but that the Lord had done something perhaps open the horses eyes to the spirit...I don't know but I know it was Him. This seems like a small thing in view of the miraculous things shared here but it will forever be with me. |

My Mom was a single Mom as well (my parents divorced when I was three). One night she had money to buy gas for th ecar to get to work, or buy groceries so her four kids could eat. She bought groceries, and then drove home. I still remember the car sputtering to a halt in the driveway. The next morning she woke up, and the gas tank was full. |

Sue, Sunday evening I went to brush my teeth I noticed something differant about my [silver] fillings. I suspected something but to be sure I went to show Dave. I asked him what color my fillings were and he said {Yup their GOLD}. He looked at my top teeth and they too were Gold. As for right now they are a light Gold. Not as shiny as my friends Gold cap but deffinantly noticable. Glory to God!!!

It took me one and a half hours to read this blog. I read, stopped and cried, read some more, stopped and cried, by the time I got to Loria's piece, I stopped crying and started boo-hooing... everyone who shared touched me deeply. I too want to share, I have to share. God is sooo good!
I AM A BAG LADY! Yes, for years I have put all my wonderful, miraculous blessings in my spiritual shopping bags and toted them with me every where I go. Most of them, if not all of them are simply unbelievable, miracles indeed. This is the one I choose to share. It happened a long, long, time ago.......
It was September 9th, in the year of our Lord, 2007, I had errands to attend to before the taping of our E-telecast. I need to first go back in time for all this to make sense. Ken and I started Kenami Ministries 4 years ago. It's not your typical ministry, it's not a church, we don't have members or a congregation (not physically anyway). The Lord gave us a mandate to "host preachers for tv broadcast." How we were to make this happen, well at the time God didn't say. Yet Ken and I stepped out on faith. We have a one service a month, where we invite 3 preachers to bring the "Word" and we video tape them for future broadcast. For every one preacher that says yes, they will do it, 10 others tell us no. Our service is held on the 4th Saturday morning of each month. Each preacher has 20 minutes to bring the Word.
I so identify with the prophets of the Old Testament, when God would command them to do the strangest things. We had to and still have to approach Pastors, preachers, evangelists of all denominations and ask if they are willing to share a "Word from God" to our vision. That's all it is right now a vision. Can you imagine some strange crazy lady (that's me) coming to you and sharing her vision from God, and then asking you to come a share a Word, and then tell you that you might have to preach to chairs, because we don't have members. We do have folk who come to our service, but we never know who' coming or how many. We have had as many as hundred people show up, or down to our faithful five. But wait, there one more thing to add, we also tell each preacher, we can't offer them a dime, because we simply don't have it.
Gradually the Lord did reveal the plan. We now understand that we are to start an internet tv network and that's what we are working towards. This is an extremely expensive vision. But I believe God. So for four years, I've taken all of what I earn in my leadership business to support this ministry, and my husband (with 2 jobs) carries on the expense of this family.
So in four years, with only 1 service a month, we have close to 200 preachers video tapped ready for internet tv. Outside of taking an offering at each service held, we have never asked for a dime. God provides. You may ask why? Because the Lord said, not to ask anyone for anything. In the vision he said, as long as you do my will, people will pour into this ministry, and you will not have to ask for anything. Not a problem, I believe God.
Ok so now four years later, in January of this year, God adds more to our plate, with the daily E-telecast. Five days a week, boy what a challenge, but oh what a joy. I am sorry this is taking so long, but I don't want anyone to get the wrong impression, I do want all to see the Glory of God. Normally I have 4 to 5 speaking engagement a month, yet this year to date, I had 5 engagements for the whole year, so far. Not complaining, because I see the Lord making a transition, don't exactly know how but I do see a transition.
So 2 days ago, I had to run some errands before the taping of next week's telecast. I stopped into Walgreens to pick up some bread and a few other items, went to check out and gave my card to the cashier. My card was declined. Then it hit me. I forgot, that I hadn't made a deposit in months, I forgot that I hadn't had an income for months, no training, no speaking engagements, I simply forgot. I've been low before, but never out.
I came back home, sit down numb... and then burst into tears. Lord, I cried, you said you in your word, "I have been young and now I am old, Yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken Or his descendants begging bread." Psalm 37:25
Yes I cried, that is until I heard the enemy within sniggling, now what you're gonna do? That pissed me off, and I yelled out loud, God always has a ram in the bush! So I dried up my eyes and made up my face and went about my Father's business, taping for the telecast. The topic: The Cost of Discipleship.... me think God got jokes.
Anyway right before I logged on today, right before I ran upon this post, I got a call. Dr. Njeri (that's me) we're about to send out the contract for the November's conference, but our accounting dept is implementing some changes. We're putting a check in the mail to you for $1000 dollars, and the rest of your honoruriam will be taken care of after the conference.
See, there goes that ram! To God Be The Glory

Psalm 37:25 I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread.
The above is one of my favorite scripture verses and I've found it to be so true over the years!
I have several stories of how the Lord has sustained our family over the years. He's provided food, breaks for our car, money for bills, a place to live after being evicted and on and on and on. The story I'd like to share however is one that has just happened over the past few months.
My daughter, Aimee, announced to us well over a year ago now, that her long-time boyfriend, Mike, had asked her to marry him and that they would like to get married on Sept. 15th, 2007. Aimee is our only daughter and we'd always dreamed of giving her a beautiful wedding, but guess what? We had no money. YUP, that's right....none, zip, zilch, nada, nothing. Well, without even having a dime in savings and no major credit cards, "how are we going to do this?" I asked my husband. All he said was, "It'll happen; God will make a way."
I started buying little things for the wedding here and there when I had a little extra cash, but soon the months began flying by and I realized that we were now going to have to start coming up with some cash to put down deposits on the banquet hall, Aimee's wedding gown, invitations and some of the bigger ticket items that would be needed, and wondered where was this money was going to come from? My husband was already teaching school, coaching and driving truck part-time; I couldn't expect him to get another job, and I was already working full-time as well, but our income was just covering our everyday living expenses and needs. "Lord, you need to show me how this wedding is going to happen", I began to pray, and then the Lord began to move.....
I got an unexpected, huge Christmas bonus from my employer! Our tax refund was more than we had anticipated. We were able to pay off some bills that now gave us extra cash-on-hand each month, and now it really starts getting good.....
Sorry, this is a long story, but the details that are so amazing to me, so please, bear with me.
When my husband and I first moved into the apartment complex that we live in, we had met with one of the managers and my husband, for some reason, asked the question, "So how do you get a job like this, managing an apartment complex? And she just replied, "you just apply for it like you would for any job". Then she said, "you can apply for this one in about 4 years because that's when I'll be done with nursing school and my husband and I will be moving out of state". After that conversation we never really gave it another thought. Then one day I happened to be flipping through one of our local little 'bargin-hunter' type newspapers and saw an ad for 'Property Manager' for our complex. "Look at this", I said to my husband, "Dannie must have graduated from nursing school, they need a management team for our complex now". He kind of ignored me, saying that he still had at least five years to teach before he could even think of retiring, so forget about that. I didn't even really give it another thought until about 2 months later when I saw the ad again! "They still haven't filled the manager position here", I told my husband once again. "Hmm, that's odd" he said. I told him that if he was serious about wanting to be a property manager when he asked about it those several years ago, maybe he should apply for it. He said, "Naw, I bet you need some maintenance background and we both know that I am no Mr. Fix-it". And again, I dismissed it.
Again, several months went by and I happened to see the ad again, but this time it was for Rental Manager, no maintenance experience necessary! "Do you believe this, Jim?" I asked my husband" as I showed him the newspaper want-ad section. "I think God is holding this job open for you", I laughed. "Maybe you should apply!" My husband picked up the phone, dialed the number for the property management company (Maybe just to shut me up, I'm not really sure LOL), talked with the owner (who he had been informed earlier in the call, is never there, so you 'got lucky', yeah right) and got an interview for the NEXT DAY! Wait, it get's better, if you can believe that!
Now my husband starts thinking, maybe God does want me to do this. I am kind of burned out at school. The kids have been horrible this year and I have uncooperative co-workers and they took my "Dept. Head" position away along with the pay, but I'm still doing all the work, so maybe it is time for me to call it quits there and retire!?
Trying to make a long story short, my husband interviewed the next day, was more-or-less offered the position on-the-spot, (they didn't think he'd have any problems with the background check, drug test, etc.) and he took over as manager on June 15, 2007.
Now, here's the blessing/provision part: Jim was able to quit his part-time truck driving job, take early retirement from teaching but still retain his health and dental insurance benefits at a reduced rate until he turns 66 (in 6 years.) He could start collecting his retirement pay, his paycheck from the new job, and in addition he's always had his teaching pay pro-rated so that he continued to received a check over the summers when he was off, and he was contracted to receive that pay until the end of the summer! In addition, the property management company provides bonuses for keeping the apartments occupied and we now, because we are managers, do not have to pay rent or utilities!!!!! Even though I am considered part of the management team, I was able to keep my full-time job as well.
Needless to say, God provided for Aimee and Mike's upcoming wedding very nicely!
HE IS ENORMOUSLY GOOD!!!!! THANK YOU, JESUS!

Although I don't have an amazing story to tell about God's provisions, I am constantly thankful for the little things that He provides me daily. Things like the beautiful sunrise each morning, waking up each day in His grace, the wonderous view of His creation each time I step out my front door.
Everyone's story here is a wonderful testimony of God's ability to work in some miraculous way, but Linda's post reminded me of a song that I would like to share with everyone. It was written by a Christian singer by the name of Don Moen and it is called God Will Make A Way. Don wrote this song while he was on a plane heading to the funeral of his nephew who has tragically passed away in a family car accident.
God Will Make A Way by Don Moen God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way.... He will make a way Oh God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way..... He will make a way
By a roadway in the wilderness He'll lead me And rivers in the desert will I see Heaven and earth will fade But His Word will still remain And He will do something new today
Oh God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way... He will make a way
Oh God will make a way Where there seems to be no way He works in ways we cannot see He will make a way for me He will be my guide Hold me closely to His side With love and strength for each new day He will make a way.... He will make a way
With love and strength for each new day He will make a way.... He will make a way

| I do not know about my favorite but I do recall the most unique experience with God providing. I had witnessed much since 1991 when I was reborn no memory of former life at that time and I started this life being introduced to my Son's amd their memories of my former life. I was told to read the journals under my bed they would tell me about me. I first had to learn to breath somehow the accident that took away my memory had also caused some damage to the natural comtrols on how the body functions and I had to teach my brain a new way to breath before I could leave the hospital and go home this took a bit of time. While relearning I experienced Visions and dreams of REVELATIONS unrelentlusly. It is a scarry book to see more so than what we read sort of like the movie The ? of Christ. So I had to stay in the Hospital longer for they considered me crazy though they would not use that word. many things happened afergettin out of the hospital one was my House was in forclosur up for auction in just days and noone had contacted the insurance Company guess what to late though I was and had been sick since before the last missed payment and did not know I had insurance to pay the morgage win ill. So I sold and we moved in to city projects. Quite a change from home owner. Now to the unique I had been through projet living, RVresourt living, and living in my car, reasons God and I know. So I was painting and trying to sell my art in Santa Monica as a performing artist licenced with the city I was hungery and tired and sat in the Ocean Park and prayed to God Lord you promised to provide and when I had said amen and opened my eyes a Squreal was bringing nuts and piling them in frount of me I thanked him and God and began to eat as the day got lighter for it was very early in the morning I was informed of a place that whold help me Free food and mental care The Place Step Up On Second Street in Santa Monica. |

At a local lake my husband fished while I read my bible and a pamphlet someone from church had given me about communion. It was a windy day and the fisherman around us were giving up and leaving. I looked up from my read and I used to say,"everything looked different yet the same" what has been revealed to me lately was that I saw the vibration of creation groaning for the sons of God to come forth. Anyway I heard "tell your husband to go over there and cast out there and he will catch a fish. I knew right where "there" without anyone pointing to it...I told my husband what I had heard and he said into the wind? Any fisherman can tell you if you cast into the wind it will blow your line back into shore...but since that's what I heard....so as he bait the hook I hear, now call the fish.....I remember sitting there thinking ok now ....this is me ...I want so bad to hear the Lord...but I did it anyway, I said Fish in the name of Jesus come here...and as soon as my husband's line hit the water he caught a fish....and then I heard "Repent of unbelief" When I got home He gave me the scriptue in Genisis about man having reign over the birds of the air and fish of the sea. One other animal story took place at the Atlanta zoo...I went there with my daughter and grandsons..we stood at the Baboons habitat and there was one sitting real close with his back to us...the kids said I wish he would turn around so we could see his face...and I remembered the fish and the Lord giving me that scripture (and this is years later) so I thought why not and Hollered out , much to the embarrassment of my family "Baboon in the name of Jesus turn around we want to see your face" and the Baboon didn't turn around but gave me the finger....and then rubbed his backside...to which I replied Oh no you didn't and from outta no where there came a loud clapping, like two boards being slammed together and the Baboon jumped up and turned around..... My daughter was astounded.....I love that story.

| Great story Sue! My one among many: I was going to minister to someone on the other side of town and as I came through the toll (before Easy Pass), I realized I did not have $ to pay it. I was always very "sin conscious" & so I'm beginning to "sweat" visualizing the policeman pulling me over....well...the sun hit my eyes and I pulled the visor down to have 2 quarters fall out....pretty cool since there was no way to "store" change in my visor. He cares. |

| Halleluaj, what a mighty God we serve, these testimonies are just so awesome! Praise God!! I too have so many, but this is the one i will share. About 8 years ago, my husbands sister and her son and daughter came to stay with us in our home. Financially it wasn't the best i was making but one thing i always told my boss was keep the rent but make sure you give me the ten percent because that is my tithe to the church, and he would look at me like poor girl she is too much, hahaha and i would tell him it works...so anyway i was getting called to pay my bills from the companies and i went into prayer my stepson and his cousin looked at me like oh here she goes again to pray and would laugh, i just went on telling God you said Father that if i would tithe that you would open up the windows of heaven and pour out a blessing in which we wouldn't know where to put it and i kept telling him of his promises when all of a sudden the phone rang and this one woman i met one time called me down stairs told me i went grocery shopping and the Lord told me you needed this so come down and get it, well dont you know, my pride(embarassed) i said no i dont, wowowow the Lord immiediately chastised me and i went down stairs and get this i spoke to God everything i wanted and the boys had heard me asking God, they couldnt believe what they saw, i told them empty the bags and put the groceries away and as they did they looked at me and said No Way! I was like yes that is The God i serve, tithing works all the time. Bless God, i will share more within time....Blessed be the name of The LOrd forevermore!!!!! Thank you for allowing me to share this with others...I pray it touches someone...halleluaj! |

I certainly hope any person who has not had food in a couple days feel like God does not love them. It must be nice to just pray and get everything you want, or need. I went without food for a long time in Vietnam. Water also, because no chopper could get in to help us. Gee, ya' think, maybe God hated us for what we were doing? |

HALLELUJAH!! I rejoice with you all as you rejoice for God's continue reminder that He cares and loves us! Well recently I was in great debt and my financial plan for this year was to get out of debt and have $2,000 stacked up at the end. About a month ago I still had about $4,000 of debt and I just got fired from the job (they found out my past record from Maryland so they let me go!) I was a little discouraged with little money and a lot of debt. Long story short, someone had just recently gave me ALL the money to pay off the debt and some extra spending money! HALLELUJAH! I also go to Bible College and He also provided ALL the money needed for school! HALLELUJAH! GOD IS SOO GOOD! The key is obedience to the King of Glory! HALLELUJAH! I pray this testimony of Gods grace and faithfulness encourages someone! GOD BLESS!
8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to [his] purpose.

God steadily makes provision for me every day. There is no end to his miraculous creativity!
One of my favorite stories happened a few years ago, when my husband's band was asked to minister at a homeless shelter in Oklahoma City--that meant a road trip and overnite lodging and at the time, we were stretched very thin financially. By faith, we agreed to make the trip knowing it would mean some of our bills would not get paid.
We were to leave on Friday night, and that afternoon a woman that I had worked briefly with (she temped for me in my office a few months prior) walked into the office and said that God had told her to fill up my gas tank. She knew nothing about the ministry trip we were leaving on in just a few hours.
Someone called my husband right about the same time who lived just outside of Oklahoma City and offered to put us up for the night. We were able to make the trip with no out of pocket expense.
Several months later that same woman came back to temp for me, and asked if she could use my driveway to have a garage sale to make enough money to pay her rent. Of course, I agreed. I worked in her place that day and when I returned home a set of 6 brand new beautifully hand carved chairs were placed around my dining table. (I didn't have any chairs at the time) That was in November, and we were expecting guests for Thanksgiving. I had been worried that there would be no place for any one to sit. Again, I never told anyone about my concern, I just prayed about it. I never saw her again, but she told my husband that someone had given her the chairs and the Lord told her to give them to me. I still have those chairs--they are one of my favorite things. I can't help but look at the exquisite carving, and see Jesus the Carpenter hard at work on my behalf. On Thanksgiving we had exactly the right amount of seating for all of our guests. |

| In 1991 as a single mom I wanted to buy a house for me and my kids. I had no credit well no good credit anyways. We had a miracle sunday at the church I was going to at the time. First off that friday I was turned down due to the credit problem. On sunday I prayed for a miracle. On monday the man from the bank called and said he had not been able to sleep all weekend knowing that we did not get our house! Anyways he worked on some other ways and I got the house! It had to be God. I had to be the Holy Spirit dealing with him that weekend. PTL! |
