Very nice.
Have you ever read Calvin Miller's "The Singer"? I think you would really like it. If you find it, it may be out of print. let me know what you think.
But as for your's, again, very nice....

Heather ... another annointed writing!  He's exposed ... you're no longer in his grip ... wonderfully delivered ... FREE!  Again, it's wonderful to watch HIM working in YOU!  I agree with Dennis ... you'd probably enjoy "The Singer" ... it's a poetic parable describing the life, death and resurrection of Jesus.

Wow, Mike. I'd kinda passed over that line. You know, unless you lived on a farm, or raised rabbits, it doesn't make sense. I've done both and it really does make sense. It is indeed a hideous sound. really scary, unless you know what it is.
Heather, Calvin Miller wrote a trilogy, "the Singer, The Song, and tthe Finale". All were amazing poems written for Intervarsity press in the '70's. He went on to become a professor and write other books. I consider him to be like Tolkien, Lewis and Williams. He is able to put into words those thoughts that most of us would like to even be able to think, but those thoughts that we hear and go, oh yeah, I know what that is. Your poem did that for me. Keep up the writing. Remember Tolkiens idea about fairy tales, He said that all stories only represent the one true story of all. He referred of course to the story of Christ. All his stories, Lewis's and William's stories relected that philosophy.
Again, Bravo ! Encore !
