A few months ago, I was drowning in the daily processing of church submissions and church moderator applications.  Researching and approving every single church request and moderator was time-consuming and draining... but it had to be done, carefully.

Then Pastor Dave came along.  What an incredible blessing Dave has been!

MyChurch kept growing.  And soon Dave was overwhelmed too.  Sue stepped in and has been amazing.  Dave was knocking out requests during the day, and Sue would come online at night (and stay up until the wee hours of the morning).  She also worked "overtime" when Dave needed surgery.

MyChurch kept on growing.  And it was clear we needed more help.  Pastor Chris volunteered and now our small team of volunteer church admins work together to keep MyChurch a community of Christian churches.

I can't thank this dedicated team enough.  They've spent countless hours to ensure MyChurch is a community of Christian churches with integrity and shared beliefs and values.  This includes receiving all the nasty notes that non-Christians send us when we reject their churches ;)

This also includes helping us improve our back-end administrative tools which try to make the review and approval processes as smooth as possible.  Cary has been implementing a bunch of their requests, which should make their jobs easier.  But it is still a mountain of work that can only be done by a motivated and passionate team.  

Let me share a bit more about these wonderful folks that God has connected us with...

Dave - dynamic and detail-oriented, his passion is inspiring.  Dave helps get press for MyChurch and works with our spam algorithms and reporting tools to kick out people who are up to no good.  Myspace needs someone like Dave ;)

Sue - I admire her energy and dedication.  She's got a keen eye for improving processes and systems.  Her thought process is so logical and smart - I always highly value her input.  She is meticulous, but can also step back and see the big picture.

Youth Pastor Chris - YPC is so humble, that he won't give me his picture and bio to post in the About Us page ;)  As our newest church admin, I was surprised to see he ramped up so quickly and efficiently.  Chris just quietly puts his head down, rolls up his sleeves, and gets to work - no questions, no complaints.

Dave, Sue, and Chris - you all are such a blessing.  I could not have imagined such a passionate group volunteering their time and gifts to MyChurch when we launched the site a year ago.  We could not continue to grow without you.
