Amen Patrick!  I long for heaven, our home, where evil will not exist.

I too have pondered that very thing, Patrick. And I too can hardly wait to be with the One who has conquered evil (death, sin, etc.). I see evil as the definition of choice. God does not force himself on any of us. Instead he woos us. Love doesn't exist where choice is absent. Unfortunately, where choice is present so too is evil. Ugghh! Heaven will be awesome though!  ~mike

Evil is in the world because sin is in the world.  Sin is in the world because we were given free will by a LOVING GOD who didn't want to Force us to worship and obey...He loves us THAT much, to let us hate and disrespect Him and get what we want, even if that means turning away from Him.  The side-effect and byproduct of our sinful choices is evil and suffering, and the ENEMY knows that - he knows that he can play on those feelings of lust, desire, hate, and doubt and keep it going in the world.

Yes, God could stop all suffering in the world with a blink of an eyelid, but He doesn't because then it would be Forcing us to obey, rather than us coming to Him through love and a desire to honor and glorify Him, the creator of all things.

Dear Ones,

Look at what Jesus has commanded us to do.  I am sure if we follow this along with his great commandment of love your neighbor I am very sure  the whole world will be a paradise.

6:27 But I say unto you that hear, Love your enemies, do good to them that hate you, 6:28 bless them that curse you, pray for them that despitefully use you.

Its time to introspect ourselves and see what we are doing.

God Bless all of us.
