| Seniors Can Still Learn! |
|
| |
I just saw this news article on the internet http://www.ajc.com/metro/content/business/stories/2007/09/19/Digital_0920.html
It speaks of seniors not knowing how to make thier TV's work when the FDA makes everything Diginal in 2009. It seems that we will no longer be able to view television shows with rabbit ear antanaes. We will have to subscribe to satallite or cable. This article says that seniors will not understand how to switch over and may not have TV anymore. So, if bad weather comes we won't know it.
That is the dumbest thing I have ever read. I can look out the window and see a storm cloud comming. These people must really think we are helpless.
I want to remind everyone that just because I am a senior citizen I can still learn new things. We may not be familiar with all the new technologies in the world today, but we can master anything we put our minds to.
Does everybody agree with me? |

That is funny. As soon as you go over 40. Some bannas think you can't think for yourself. They forget. It is the elder who taught them what they know!! God bless!! |

| Dear OldLady, you may also use the "delete" link to filter posts you consider offensive from your blog -- it's right next to the date/time of each post. God bless, ~mike |

| OldLady, you are cool! We're glad you're here, and absolutely none of us is too old to learn new things! Maybe too lazy or too stubborn, but not too old. You'll find 999 out of 1000 people on MyChurch are kind and pleasant! |

Now, wouldn't it be better to call yourself Seasond lady. Or, Elder lady! I don't like to call people "old". You seem way too nice to put yourself down like that! Yeah, I like lucy and Ricky's show too. I have sense. My ma used to let me stay up and watch them. They were on at 9:30PM and I was just in Kidnergarden. So, I slept in class!! |
