| God Stepped in. |

I was just remembering how The Lord saved me from drowning three times, in my childhood. I had just turned four years old and was taken to the beach by friends who lived next door. The tide was out so I played over the rocks for a while, it was a long way from the people so I decided to go back, but unbeknown to me the tide had turned. I stepped off the rocks into deep water which came over my head and thats when God stepped in. The panic I suddenly felt left me, I found myself "helped" somehow, through the water and back to the shore. It must have been at least 3 hundred yards or more from the rocks and no one but me and God knew what happened! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The next time I was nine years old living in England. After school the kids used to play by a thirty foot deep dam, beside a textile factory.... We were all forbidden to play there as you can imagine! but we loved it there and did'nt listen to the warnings. After dyeing the cloth it was discharged into the dam (the dye), this paticular day it was green. Getting bored we decided to make a raft!, we tied bits of board together and were very proud of the result, however no one dared to go into the water on it, so being the youngest I bravely offered to try it out..... As I got to the middle of the dam, the whole thing came apart and my older friends ran off leaving me to drown!!! ... In the water I panicked but only for a moment, yet once again God stepped in and helped me swim safely to the bank..... The worst part was squelching up the road to my house to face my parents!!!.... What were they going to say to their little wet and very green daughter?. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The third time was the worst, I have'nt even told my children this one....... I was just seventeen and had missed my ten o'clock curfew, I did'nt want to go home and face the music! so I talked my friend into runing away... I was now living back in Ireland, this time near Belfast, where many boats came into the docks. We just happened to be walking past the docks, I looked at the ships and had a great idea! yes' we could stow away...my friend was horrified!!! By the time I talked her into it we were very cold and tired, so we climbed over the huge gates and made for the nearest ship, we crept aboard unseen and hid from view.... Then the ship sailed... then reality set in, what had we done?... During the voyage the sea got rough and I got seasick, I justed wanted to die!.... I had to get out in the fresh air, I was too sick to care if anyone saw me. I made my way onto an narrow ledge and waited for death, each time the ship dipped on the side I was lying on,I rolled to the edge and looked down at the dark sea, too ill to care if I rolled in. Thinking about it now my blood runs cold and yes once again God stepped in. The next dip was lower and just as I was about to roll into the sea, the ship suddenly came up, 'again' I was saved from drowning and this time I did'nt get wet......! My friend appeared with a sailor! and they pulled me off the ledge, we were discovered, but I was too sick to care,! It was now early morning and the ship was docking, we were put off at the Manchester Ship Canal, where our adventures began.........
I thank my Heavenly Father for stepping in and saving me. His mercy edures for ever, Praise His Name
5:1 Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God: and every one that loveth him that begat loveth him also that is begotten of him.
