| Plant yourself in Jesus |

Recently throughout the world people have been forced to face increasingly unstable weather. We have all seen the images of towns and cities ravaged by storms. Some have experienced it first hand. The thing that always amazes me is that with all the destruction of homes , buildings, bridges etc.. there is always a tree left standing . When a tree faces many storms their roots grow deeper into the ground. They don’t look to something other then what gives them life to keep them safe, and because of this faith they endure the storms they face. We all could learn something from these trees, ( myself most of all). When we have been faced with indecision or have felt insecure we are all guilty of turning away from our Father sometimes. Like the trees we must plant our feet and our faith in the life giving soil of Jesus. In our ever changing world He is the only thing constant.
13:8 Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and for ever.
The storms we face in our lives also give us a chance to grow, they test our faith and teach us to hold on to the promises of God. Believe in Jesus He will keep us from toppling over.
1:3 for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness.
