| Library Day! |

I woke up on Friday and I remembered that today was the day we finally go to the library. It had been such a long time. I am really excited. When we get there, there is a lot of stuff to do. I play with the little ones in the back, read stories with Dad and help other children on the computer- just like a librarian!
Mom allowed me to pick ten non-fiction books and five fiction books. My brother Josiah, got to choose the same amount of books. All my fiction books are American Girl. I love American Girl and you know it! Mom knew it too. She is going to do an American Girl unit study with me. She personalized a book cover for us to use for our Academy.
God knew I love American Girl too. He planted it in another Mother's heart to copy this unit study and send it to us. Though we have never met, I am sure glad that God led her to be this nice. Just think, copying your own thing for another family that you don't even know that live far away. It can bless a little girl's heart as a present not for Christmas or birthday. Just an everyday present. The true gift is that this is another activity to do with my Mom, who I really love.
The library day was very fun, because of all the books to look at in there. It was a relief to see all the books after too long away. It had been weeks! It was a blessing to get the American Girl books, then get home to find out that we will do the study together.
After we got home, I read my two Kaya books quickly. When Mom found out how fast I had done it, she acted like I was my older brother, who reads a LOT. It was so funny.
Thank You Lord, for such a good day at the library! |
