2:1 Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and [by] our gathering together unto him,
2:2 That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand.
2:3 let no man beguile you in any wise: for `it will not be,' except the falling away come first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition, 2:3 Let no man deceive you by any means: for [that day shall not come], except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; There has been a falling away like never before. It's a pity and a shame when we question God's Holy Word. Because it is then that we are in trouble.
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtle than any beast of the field which Jehovah God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of any tree of the garden?
3:1 Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? Yes, the question still goes on today, "Yea hath God said?..." If this wasn't the case we would not have denominations turning their back on God's word and ordaining homosexuals. We wouldn't have people tempting God by playing with snakes to prove their faith, knowing that faith is used in everyday life, not just in a service and not for a show. We wouldn't have "churches" going nude, because God created Adam and Eve in the buff. He did clothe them and our world is in the fallen state, even if we are redeemed. We wouldn't have churches laying down their Bibles and reading books that New Agers have put together. We wouldn't be didvided on what God has clearly stated in His Word is His Will. We would be praying more, studying His Word more, drawing close to Him. We would not cut to pieces with our tongues, those of us who have fallen, but lift them up in prayer and encourage them to live right. Yes there is an absolute right and wrong. We are to love the sinner and hate the sin. God loved the sinner, that's why Jesus died a brutal death and shed His blood. It was not just for me, it was for the world. The whole world is looking for salvation and what are we offering them?
8:19 For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God.
8:22 For we know that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain together until now. Are we "drunk" with debates? Are we sick and tired of hearing "the issues". It is time to become sober. It is time to be made well and whole and rise up. Sin is sin and the wages haven't changed for it, it is still death. But as a Body of Believers in Jesus the True Christ, we are to be for LIFE. We are to promote His life. Yes, He died, but He rose again, He is victorious! We can be too, in Him and through Him. 30:15 See, I have set before thee this day life and good, and death and evil;
30:19 I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, [that] I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
30:20 That thou mayest love the LORD thy God, [and] that thou mayest obey his voice, and that thou mayest cleave unto him: for he [is] thy life, and the length of thy days: that thou mayest dwell in the land which the LORD sware unto thy fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give them. Perhaps you are not a "BIG fan" of the version of the Bible I use, I challenge you to take that up with God. A lot of people don't. But the main point here is not what version of the Bible I use, but the TRUTH being spoken here. We as a Body of Believers, need to take a stand for LIFE and for TRUTH. I'm not sure why, but God chose to use people to proclaim His truth. Perhaps it's because He wants us to proclaim it to one another, as in human to human. So the real challenge here is to love someone enough today to share with them the TRUTH, in love.
6:1 Brethren, even if a man be overtaken in any trespass, ye who are spiritual, restore such a one in a spirit of gentleness; looking to thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
6:1 Brethren, if a man be overtaken in a fault, ye which are spiritual, restore such an one in the spirit of meekness; considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.
4:20 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? Seriously, brothers and sisters in Christ, we are living in the "Last Days", how much time we have - don't know; but I do know that we are to be about our "Father's business", till He comes. There is more on this I'd like to share but it'll have to wait because this is a bit long. May God bless you all. |
