Sandee dear love one,

First, my condolences on the passing of your mom.

It appears that there is a question of "when God, when?"    I won't repeat what was already shared with you, they were right on the mark.  Please allow me to ask a question.  Not for you to answer on the blog, but to pray about.

Are you serving God, or are you like too many saints today, that expect God to serve them, asking without giving, seeking without finding, knocking on doors that are not heaven bound?   If your answer is to serve God, then follow Jesus, He said, "Father not my will, but your will be done."  Let God's will be done in your life and know that the Father's gift will supercede anything that your heart could ever imagine.   On my blog I'm teaching this week on Joy, it might prove helpful in your situation.

I pray your strength, be encouraged, God never fails.

Pastor Aminata asked a very good question to all of us, "Are we really serving GOD?"  Too many of us think of him literally as a genie in a bottle and we may not do that on purpose, but we do.  We are constantly asking, asking and what do we truly give in return.  Sure, we go to church, we praise him, we get in our closets and have these up close and personal talks with him.  If we really took a look at ourselves, "Are we really serving GOD?" are we serving him the way he wants us to or the way we want to?  JESUS did not have all of the accrouments that we have today(tv, cell phones, computers, dishwashers, (had to throw that in there), etc.  He had NOTHING compared to what we have, yet he touched, healed, encouraged and NEVER , EVER lost his faith. We are sooo spoiled by the world. There is so much suffering, unspeakable suffering in our world and we consider ourselves "Serving GOD".
Sandee, I'm talking more to myself than you and to others who happen to read this.  We get discouraged and our FATHER knows. We get despondent and lose some our faith and our FATHER knows.  But he also knows why you were created, what your purpose is and he's not going to let you go.  You are an awesome person with so much insight and wisdom and you encourage so many people.  GOD has not forgotten you.  STAND BABY and receive your blessings because they are coming.  My biggest JOY comes when I have helped others.  It took years for that to sink into me and I thank my FATHER for that. The tangible things here on earth will soon fade away but it is the intangible things that will live on (love, hope, joy, my FATHER and my friends and family in my heart).
LIFT THAT HEAD AND CHIN AND MARCH ON!!! That's what we do and he expects no less.

Sandee:  I posted this blog sometime back "When GOD says NO" and I want you to read it....

Whoever comes to me shall never be hungry, and whoever believes in me shall never be thirsty.
JOHN 6:35

There are times when the one thing you want is the one thing you never get...

You pray and wait.

NO ANSWER.

You pray and wait.

May I ask a very important question?
WHAT IF GOD SAYS NO????
What if the request is delayed or even denied?
When GOD says NO to you, how will you respond? If GOD says, "I've given you my grace, and that is enough," will you be content?

CONTENT. THAT'S THE WORD. A STATE OF HEART IN WHICH YOU WOULD BE AT PEACE IF GOD GAVE YOU NOTHING MORE THAN HE ALREADY HAS.
