| I need a healing for my soul |

I am going through something right now and it really has nothing to do with the passing of my mother. Granted missing my mother does not help the situation but it is a little more complicated than that. At the lowest point of my day I reached out to a few of my online friends and confided my dilema to them, here are their responses:
Brightness:
I'm so very sorry to hear about your situation Sandee..and many, many times christians like yourself ask the same question over and again. I wish that I had the ultimate answer...I don't rightfully know the particulars of your circumstances, however the one thing that I'm positively sure of is if the Spirit of the Lord has conveyed a prophetic msg or has spoken a promise that God has in reserve for you through His anointed vessel, then it absolutely has to come to pass, because the Lord's word can not return unto Him void! There is no possibility of that ever happening!
I don't know who has lead or has communicated to you the process of the 77 day waiting period, however, Sandee, know matter what, you can't give up now. You've come to far, this encourages me to believe that you must be closer to your blessing than before. God delivers in seasons. Previously, I had waited on the Lord to answer a prayer that I had prayed well over a decade ago...and oh did this thing cause me to sweat, suffer, fast, cry in essence to walking in the statues of the Lord and laying down my life as a living sacrifice..
For years nothing had developed in my favor in reference to my petition until this present day...Finally, I got a word that my Pastor had ministered to me about three months ago....My sister, if "GOD" said it that settles it..it is done, and nothing or nobody can take it from you...Test and trials may come to try your faith, yet you still must remain steadfast and immovable...continue walking the walk by faith my sister not by sight..your blessings are in the making in the spiritual realm, then in due season it will be submitted to you according to God's appointed timing. The Lord knows what you are in need of, and He is going to supply all of them...but don't become distracted by the waiting process, you are not alone, so many others are holding on also...same here...God's word and promises are bond...they will come to past!
I'm standing in prayer with you!
Gator:
I know how you feel....Trust me I do I've been waiting in a certain area of my life for 13yrs, and have seen people fall in sin and get what I want. The only thing I can come to grips with is God's grace is sufficient for me, and that my situation is designed to give God the glory. Sandee you don't have to go down Egypt to get what you desire. God's got all that you need and could ever want. Your misery will become your ministry and you will be a light and example to many if you go through it the right way. WoW can you imagine that. An example to many of how God brought you over. Be encouraged Sis. I'm praying for you...Don't give up!!! Don't give in!! Help is on the way Sandee.
Psalms 27:7-14 7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me. 8 When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek. 9 Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation. 10 When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up. 11 Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain F83 path, because of mine enemies. 12 Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty. 13 I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. 14 Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
Tony: One thing that I know Sandee is that this "thing", if it's not good for you... no matter who says it is not going to come to you. We have to expect God to have our best interest at heart in relation to people, places and things... and just because He doesn't come when we want Him to come, doesn't mean that it will not come. Don't allow your disappointments to hinder your faith in God and his promises. If you idlolizing this "thing", then you are making God jealous... if you are hoping in this "thing more than God then you are actually placing it before Him...
Faith forgets the facts in ANY situation and trust God in whom ALL things ARE possible. just put it this way Sandee... if God has given you something before that you asked for.... then use that as your "substance" or your hope. That is what faith is all about....
Trust me... I know how it feels to feel disappointment because God didn't move when I needed Him to... 2 cars 1 house a marriage and a job later.... I have learned that God knows what's best for me...... You are absolutely wonderful inside and out... and I am proud and honored to know you...
Read these scriptures
Psalm 27:14 Wait patiently for the Lord.Be brave and courageous.Yes, wait patiently for the Lord.
Hebrews 6:15 Then Abraham waited patiently, and he received what God had promised.
There are so many more.... I know you waited 84+ days, but I assure you that delay does not mean denial if it's in God's will. He loves you and wants the best for you.....
When Lazarus was dying, they went and told Jesus and He didn't attend to Him for 2-3 days.... the reason was because the "glory" had to be revealed.... so you are waiting because God's glory needs to be revealed in all of this....
Brightness your response got the best results, thank you. Gator you were right on time with your testimony and scripture. Tony, your testimonies are always enough. Rach and Nikki thank you guys for the Telephone calls, know that I appreciate everything that you guys attempted to do to uplift my spirit. To everyone else who lifted me up in prayers know that they are helping because I feel a peace ascending in my spirit, my heart is still in torment but there is now peace as well: please continue interceding on my behalf.

Sandee dear love one,
First, my condolences on the passing of your mom.
It appears that there is a question of "when God, when?" I won't repeat what was already shared with you, they were right on the mark. Please allow me to ask a question. Not for you to answer on the blog, but to pray about.
Are you serving God, or are you like too many saints today, that expect God to serve them, asking without giving, seeking without finding, knocking on doors that are not heaven bound? If your answer is to serve God, then follow Jesus, He said, "Father not my will, but your will be done." Let God's will be done in your life and know that the Father's gift will supercede anything that your heart could ever imagine. On my blog I'm teaching this week on Joy, it might prove helpful in your situation.
I pray your strength, be encouraged, God never fails.

Pastor Aminata asked a very good question to all of us, "Are we really serving GOD?" Too many of us think of him literally as a genie in a bottle and we may not do that on purpose, but we do. We are constantly asking, asking and what do we truly give in return. Sure, we go to church, we praise him, we get in our closets and have these up close and personal talks with him. If we really took a look at ourselves, "Are we really serving GOD?" are we serving him the way he wants us to or the way we want to? JESUS did not have all of the accrouments that we have today(tv, cell phones, computers, dishwashers, (had to throw that in there), etc. He had NOTHING compared to what we have, yet he touched, healed, encouraged and NEVER , EVER lost his faith. We are sooo spoiled by the world. There is so much suffering, unspeakable suffering in our world and we consider ourselves "Serving GOD". Sandee, I'm talking more to myself than you and to others who happen to read this. We get discouraged and our FATHER knows. We get despondent and lose some our faith and our FATHER knows. But he also knows why you were created, what your purpose is and he's not going to let you go. You are an awesome person with so much insight and wisdom and you encourage so many people. GOD has not forgotten you. STAND BABY and receive your blessings because they are coming. My biggest JOY comes when I have helped others. It took years for that to sink into me and I thank my FATHER for that. The tangible things here on earth will soon fade away but it is the intangible things that will live on (love, hope, joy, my FATHER and my friends and family in my heart). LIFT THAT HEAD AND CHIN AND MARCH ON!!! That's what we do and he expects no less. |

Sandee: I posted this blog sometime back "When GOD says NO" and I want you to read it....
Whoever comes to me shall never be hungry, and whoever believes in me shall never be thirsty. JOHN 6:35
There are times when the one thing you want is the one thing you never get...
You pray and wait.
NO ANSWER.
You pray and wait.
May I ask a very important question? WHAT IF GOD SAYS NO???? What if the request is delayed or even denied? When GOD says NO to you, how will you respond? If GOD says, "I've given you my grace, and that is enough," will you be content?
CONTENT. THAT'S THE WORD. A STATE OF HEART IN WHICH YOU WOULD BE AT PEACE IF GOD GAVE YOU NOTHING MORE THAN HE ALREADY HAS.
